This sublime oceanfront studio is directly on the pristine white sands and serene blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico in exclusive Longboat Key, Florida! Located on the ground floor (no stairs!), directly overlooking the heated pool and ocean, this dreamy studio condo is optimal for sunset viewing from a private lanai. Take a 10-second walk to the pool and onward to the secluded beach with loungers. Enjoy a relaxing vacation at our peaceful condo at The Beach on Longboat Key Resort! Also, if you want to vacation with friends or family, we own two upstairs unit, #222 and #224, as well...! Upon arrival to The Beach on Longboat Key Resort, you will be wowed by this tropical property! Conveniently located mid-island on Longboat Key, on Gulf of Mexico Drive, this small, intimate resort, only 15 units, has so much to offer: direct, private beach access, heated pool, BBQ grill, pool and beach loungers, and onsite laundry. When you arrive, make your way to our condo, Unit 103, on the ground floor (Look for the seashell doormat!), for optimal sunset viewing! The condo has a smart lock for smooth entry and exit. Each guest is assigned a secure, individualized 4-digit code (deleted upon departure!), allowing for 24/7 arrival and freedom from carrying a key when on the beach...! Upon entering, you will walk through a small entryway to view the main living space. Our condo features a queen-size bed, along with a queen-size sleeper sofa for the extra members of your party - the little ones! There is a Smart television, with cable, for entertainment when you're not beaching it, along with a variety of reading material, board games, and children's toys. WiFi, of course, is available throughout! Also, there is a closet and underbed storage for belongings for a quick weekend getaway or a month-long stay...! For family use, we have a Pack 'N Play - convenient! The kitchen (dishwasher!), is fully stocked (coffee maker - drip and Keurig, blender, Tupperware, knife set, wine glasses, etc.), including everything you might need to cook meals in on the days you prefer not to dine out...! The bathroom features only a shower for water conservation on the island! Beyond the main living space is a large, private lanai, with table and chairs, ideal for eating a meal or sipping a cocktail! There is also a deck box with beach toys too! The condo has both central heat and air. There is a smoke detector and fire extinguisher, as well. On property, there is a heated pool with deck and loungers! Grab a sun umbrella from our closet and stroll to the private beach with more lounge chairs. No need to bring your own! A propane grill is on the lawn with grilling utensils in our unit! On the ground floor of The Beach complex, there is a free washer and dryer if needed during your trip. There is also a main dumpster for easy trash disposal. The best part of our condo is the direct ocean view and private beach access - just sublime! Notes: 1\. Upon arrival, the condo will be prepared with fresh bed linens, bathroom towels, and beach towels. There will also be starter supplies of the following: Bathroom: \- toilet paper \- shampoo & conditioner \- body wash \- hand soap \-hair dryer Kitchen: \- dish soap & sponge \- paper towels \- dishwasher detergent \- trash bags \- aluminum foil \- plastic storage bags \- cleaning spray \- spices \- olive oil \- coffee filters - drip and Keurig! Sometimes that can come in really handy! 2\. For our condo, there is one parking spot available - park wherever you like within the lot! Due to the size of the parking lot, unfortunately, no guest cars or trailers can be accommodated because it will take a spot away from another condo. 3\. Please note our condo is a 330 sq-ft studio best suited for one-two adults or one-two adults plus one-two children in the sleeper sofa, and/or one in the Pack 'N Play, if needed. I was blown away by her willingness to ensure my stay was great. I was with my mom who’s a little older at 83 but we love the beach. The unit was adorable and clean and very well equipped. After searching among dozens of beachfront stays, we found Heidi's condo. We're so happy that we did! It was perfect for my 12 year old son and me. Although it fits 4 people, it would've fit a little too tight with more people for a longer stay. The condo had everything the 2 of us needed for cooking, sleeping, and enjoying the beach. We literally had the beach outside our door step. Heidi, the host, was an outstanding communicator and paid attention to all the little details that made our stay special. Now that I have gotten that out of the way, let me talk about the unit...I could not have been any happier with this stay and this owner. Everything was spotless, super convenient to the beach and the restaurants, and we had everything you needed. My husband and I are big toast eaters in the morning, and even though there wasn't one available in the unit, Heidi ordered one and had it delivered to me the next day!!! Who does that!?? Sadly, my stay was cut short because of the awful hurricane Helene, but in the end, it all worked out because I ended up having a family emergency. Heidi had thought of every detail and had yummy coconut treats when we 1st arrived and then an AMAZING key lime pie! I'm not too fond of key lime pie, but this one was super yummy, and I had to fight my husband so he wouldn't eat it all, lol. By the end of my 4th day there, when I had to pack it all up and leave because of evacuations, I felt like this little piece of heaven was my 2nd home and Heidi was my friend! I am devastated to see what Helene has done, and I thank God that this unit was not damaged; nothing will keep me from returning to this paradise when things return to normal! I have been renting units through various companies, for many years, and Heidi has now set that bar way high for all other future owners. Thank you, Heidi, from the bottom of my heart, for making us feel like this was home away from home, and no doubt that you will hear from me again <3 ##### Melina A. Cleanliness was top notch. We had everything we needed for the house and the beach. It was soooooooo convenient be able to walk straight out to the beach and the shower to rinse off sand was great. The place was a bit smaller as I thought it was a 1 bedroom, but that is my fault for not reading the listing fully. The convenience to Anna Maria Island and Siesta was perfect.
