Step outside onto the elevated deck, perfect for unwinding with ample seating and a propane BBQ grill—ideal for cookouts while taking in the beautiful scenery. The backyard offers a retreat for relaxation and entertainment, complete with a cozy fire pit and serene lake views.

☆☆COMMUNITY AMENITIES☆☆
The Community offers lake and beach access during the summer months. There's an indoor heated pool (open year round, except Tuesday) plus an outdoor pool for your use (closed at Labor Day and opens on Memorial day). The community center is open daily and includes a bar & grill, indoor game room at the community center, playground, volleyball court and tennis court. You can rent a boat or bring your own and go fishing. There's a $10 boat registration fee for your own boat and there are no gas motors allowed, electric only. All fishing in PA requires a fishing license which costs about $30 and is easily attained by visiting the PA Fish & Boat Commission website. There are plenty of bass and other fish. Catch and release only.

With its natural beauty and abundance of activities, Emerald Lakes and the Poconos are a must-see destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

✔Please note that due to the owner’s severe allergies, we are only able to accommodate dogs. Unfortunately, we cannot allow other types of pets, including cats or birds, at any time.
✔For VRBO or direct bookings, please note that even if a cancellation qualifies under the cancellation policy, the 10% payment processing fee is non-refundable. This is due to the fact that we use external payment processors like Stripe, which do not refund processing fees.
✔Please be aware that a Burn Ban may be announced at any time by the community. While the fire pit is one of the key highlights of this property, it’s crucial to follow all burn ban regulations strictly. Failure to do so may result in fines from the community, which guests will be responsible for. We will keep you informed in real time should any such announcements occur during your stay.

⚠️ If you are to purchase amenity passes, kindly note that the indoor pool will be temporarily closed from July 14th through July 31st, 2025, due to scheduled maintenance. However, all other community amenities—including the outdoor pool —will remain fully accessible during your stay.

- You can walk the streets but driving is easier to get to the community amenities.

- Don't leave fire pit unattended and fully extinguish when finished

- No roasting of marshmallows in the house

- Don't remove/disconnect smoke detectors or carbon monoxide devices

- Setting off any fireworks is strictly prohibited and illegal

- Badges must be purchased and in your possession while using any amenities and all vehicles must display the association issued identification

- Speed limit in the community is 25mph

- Pet Fee is $100, two dogs max. Dogs only allowed.

-Please be sure to pick up and properly dispose of all pet waste during your stay. This helps us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for everyone—especially for future guests who may not be traveling with pets.

- If any pet waste is found after checkout and a professional service is required, the guest will be held responsible and charged for the full amount of the cleanup

- Kindly note that the community may require a pet vaccination record as part of the registration process.

- Any Rules broken can result in a fine at the guests expense.

- No smoking of any kind indoors. Evidence of any type of smoking will result in a $500 fine plus any extra cleaning costs.

-Late check-out and early check-in may be available for a small fee, depending on availability.

-Undisclosed or unapproved pets will incur a charge of $250 to $500, per night.

-Please do not move any furniture during your stay. Moving furniture can cause scratches on the new floors and may lead to damage if placed on or too close to baseboard heaters.

-Please note that we provide a limited amount of starter supplies for your convenience, such as toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, and other basic necessities. These supplies should be sufficient for the first few days of your stay. For additional supplies, guests are encouraged to either purchase from nearby stores or bring extra items with them to ensure a comfortable stay. We recommend stocking up on any items you may need during your stay, as we do not provide regular restocking of these supplies.

-You can purchase community amenity passes online using your mobile phone. We will send a QR code that links to the downloading link of the app once you are booked.

-Community amenities such as beach and pool access require a badge from the welcome center. $20 per person for 1-day pass. $30 for 3-day pass. 7-day pass $50. This fee is paid by the guest if you choose to use the community amenities. Children 2 and under are free.

-The property is within Emerald Lakes Association (ELA). Guests over the age of 16 will need a valid ELA amenity pass, a current PA fishing license as well as an ELA fishing permit to fish any of ELA’s lakes. All ELA lakes are catch-and-release. ELA fishing permits can be purchased at the Administration Office or the Community Center. Please have your fishing permit, as well as your amenities pass on you while enjoying our lakes.

-Note that use of kayaks, canoes and other water crafts in the property is free, but will still require guests to purchase amenity passes from the community.


-This property is located within a community that requires the registration of guests and vehicles for entry and access to amenities. While we will never ask for your ID, please note that upon arrival at the community gates or welcome center, staff/security may request to see IDs for validation purposes.

-Please be aware that as the booking party, you are responsible for reimbursing any fines or fees incurred during your stay. In the event that a fine is issued, we will handle the payment and request reimbursement from you after your stay is completed.

We had a great stay. Edna is awesome at communicating and really wants everyone to enjoy the place. Dog friendly! The house is clean, well equipped and cozy. Comfortable beds. Plenty of outdoor space and nice views from the deck. Awesome location on the water. The owner provides access to 3 canoes and a kayak with plenty of paddles and life jackets.Emerald Lake is a nice community. The lakes themselves are beautiful. The location of the house within the community is right on West Lake. The only drawback to the community is it is not very walkable. The HOA has a lot of rules and regulations, but Edna is helpful with this. There is some extra cost for amenity passes to use the lake which are not included in the rental. But this is made very clear. It is not too expensive, less than beach tags for a week at the shore. I would definitely recommend.

Family Fun

Had a great stay at the home. It was well stocked and clean upon arrival. Host was quick to communicate and we encountered no issues. Lots of games inside and kayaks/canoes to use. The lake itself didn’t have much fish action, so that was a little disappointing. Yes there were fish, but not what I would consider a “stocked lake.” Still had a great time!

Perfect Fall Getaway

We had an amazing stay the is property. The lake ia beautiful and the home is so relaxing and comfortable. If you plan to cook, this kitchen has everything you'd need - griddle, air fryer, convection oven, spices galore, and even some other helpful items you may not have packed. The communication was wonderful and all our questions were answered. We hope to retirn again.
