We really enjoyed the trails in the woods and the river! Its a great place to get away ! The only thing we didnt like very well was the bathroom being so far away.

The cabin is situated in beautiful oak forest where wildlife abounds. The deck adds significant living space and it is sheltered with great ambiance. I enjoyed reading and resting in the very comfortable bed. This is a piece of paradise!
Although we had a slight change in plans the owner was very accommodating to it and we greatly appreciated it! Besides that we absolutely enjoyed our time here. The cabin is cute, property was fun to wonder around on and it was very guiet and peaceful there. The perfect place to getaway to for some relaxation. We hope to be back this fall!
Perfect getaway cabin for the weekend. Property is naturally beautiful with creek running right behind cabin. View of the river and the property waterfall is amazing. Cabin and bath house has everything you need for your stay.
The stay was perfect. Only hiccup we hit was figuring out which driveway we needed to take. The listing said 48 but on the placard it said 43 but easily rectified. This place was exactly what we were wanting.
Our stay was amazing! The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. Nice and clean, as well as the outhouse. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed being able to explore it all during our stay. Saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the privacy! We will be staying again!
I loved staying here. There was a bit of a mix up because I arrived 5 minutes early and didnt know how to get in because the owners messaged me but there was no service so I couldn't read the message. In retrospect I should have just checked the door but I ended up leaving and coming back so I could check the message. I live with social anxiety and this was so amazing to be out with nature for a whole day. There's a bench overlooking a huge river on a cliff and a creak that runs through the whole property. I did lots of exploring and would love to go again sometime

We were not issued a key entry into cabin, so we had to leave the door unlocked while we were away. We came back one day and there were carpenter ants in our food on the counter. I ended up spraying outside while I killed all the ants inside.we checked out a day earlier and notified the host by email and no response on either about the keyless entry or by checking out early by one day. I had to borrow a leaf blower on cleaned off the back deck and fire pit area so we could enjoy the fire pit.
This property is very sweet. The location is super secluded and you absolutely will not get a phone signal. Super relaxing interior. That being said, the creek and the waterfalls were dry which was a bit of a disappointing. The pictures made it look like you could easily access the river, but you have a treacherous descent that involves holding onto a rope- better be in good shape. The trail to the bath house had lots of poison ivy and roots on the path so be very aware in the dark as there is no lighting on the path. However, less than 5 minutes down the road is a beautiful access spot to the river that I would highly recommend.

Totally off the grid! Very cozy nice cabin! Very clean! Would have been nice to have a TV with some DVDs! No cell phone service which was awesome for us! Would have been nice to have a potty room closer! But bathhouse was cute! Love the overlook of the river! We even caught some fish and cooked them! This was the perfect getaway for our 19th anniversary! Hope to be back in the fall! To see the beautiful changing of the leaves! Loved the farm fresh eggs, cucumbers and tomatoes they left for us! And the sweet note!

The cabin itself has potential and a lot of charm, but it was clear it hadn’t been properly cleaned before our stay. There was visible dust throughout, and what looked like bug spray or some kind of residue was dripping down the front door and window. The bathroom trash was left full, and the shower clearly hadn’t been cleaned—there was hair from previous guests. We also found a stain on the bedsheets, and the toaster oven had layers of cooked-on food. All of this made it hard to feel comfortable during our visit. A deep cleaning is definitely overdue. While we appreciate the off-grid experience, a basic level of cleanliness should still be expected. With all that said we genuinely enjoyed the peaceful, off-grid setting and the surrounding property—it was quiet, scenic, and a great place to unplug.
