"Excellent stay with an incredible view. There was plenty of space for our two families to stay. The property is close to town and easily accessible to the lake."

"This place by far was a great experience, I had an excellent time there it may not look like much but the quietness and the tranquillity was well worth it. Some may not be too happy with the spotty cellar signal but I saw it as a way to “unplug” and enjoy the moments shared, and the staff were super helpful they went above and beyond to make sure my time there was the best possible. I can say I’ve found a favorite place to stay when I’m in the area. And hope this place gets the attention it deserves, Because the experience was worth it"

"This place is paradise. We’ve stayed in many homes in the lakes region and we’ve found our spot. The house is clean and well appointed. We enjoyed floating on the crystal clear pond, kayaking, and evenings on the screened in porch. We saw loons, eagles, and turtles and enjoyed the many bird sounds. It feels so remote yet it is close to grocery stores and downtown Meredith and Moultonborough. The host is responsive and communication was great. We can’t wait to be back again next year."

"Great Squam cottage/lake house! This house was perfect for our large family reunion. It’s an amazing, charming, authentic, old, true lake house with high vaulted ceilings, big stone fireplace, wrap around porch and and old school house with upstairs multi bunk style bedrooms. If you are not up for rustic, no air conditioning, limited updated bathroom or amenities, it may not be for you and that’s fine. For those who grew up on lakes in old cottages on Squam with unbelievable views and location, it is a 10 out of 10! I highly recommend reading some of the very detailed, accurate reviews before deciding.Very spacious living space, well equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking meals for large group (gas grill too) & plenty of eating space.The location is amazing- close enough to river/marina/downtown Holderness but easy access to getting out on big lake. The dock, mooring & swim/floating trampoline all made for an unbelievable week on golden pond with multi generational family…great weather helped too! But the game room would’ve been well used if rainy days. John’s communication was immediate for any questions- which were minimal.Truly feel lucky to experience this special place!"

"Location was awesome right on the pond. Wished I had remembered to bring the kayak. House was perfect for what we were looking for. Only request I would have is another light in the main bedroom. But other than that, everything else was perfect.."
