However, we were without Internet, and because there is no cable, a functioning TV for our entire stay. The modem and router in this unit were damaged during a storm and apparently had been that way for some time. The owner apparently felt that because the cause of the damage was out of their control that they did not owe us any compensation for the lack of these basic amenities. The cause of the damage does not matter. It is still the owners responsibility to maintain their property and to provide the amenities in the listing.Also, the failure to disclose these problems in advance to people renting your property is unethical. ##### Shawn W.
