Food quality and hygiene needs improvement. Message conveyed to respective duty manager onsite for corrective actions. Spa experience is one of great ones.
Rest all is world class and place to be visited time and again.
Only hotel in my opinion worth staying in Lonavala. The place is just stunning, been so beautifully curated, the structure tells a story of brutalism meets nature, much like the surrounding landscape. The team of people managed by the RDM Dipen are lovely, the restaurant Skylix is so special! Love loved our dinning experience, specially acknowledgement to the Head Chef Sunil, the bartenders Rohin and Akash. I thank Om and his team in House keeping for looking after us. And the young man with a moustache by the pool (sorry to have forgot your name). Ladies is the Spa - Mimi and Lucy. We had such an amazing memorable stay, It did not start that way but the whole team turned it around to make it quite unforgettable. We were greeted by a lovely sitar player for breakfast every day, and welcomed by friendly faces all day. I can’t recommend this play highly enough! Thank-you so much N&H
It would be incorrect to call this property a resort. Great hotel sure, but definitely doesn’t meet the requirements for a resort. The rooms and hallways are quite spacious. Overall property has a clean industrial look. Room has a premium feel as well.
Coming to the bad part, when i was there it was filled to the brim with guests. During morning breakfast time it took me 15-20 min to even get a table to sit down. And due to this rush the service was also quite slow and there was a queue at every counter. Moreover this property also doesn’t have any scenic views even after being in lonavala. Although they do have free nature treks, cycling, cooking classes etc
Really did not meet my expectations for a new Radisson. The king size mattress was two twin mattresses put together. They put them on widthwise =
instead of lengthwise ll
so our hips kept falling in the gap. The mattresses were so uneven and soft.
The toilet was unable to flush toilet paper. The food was underwhelming. They had a band blasting music well past 10:30 so considering it is a resort and SPA it sure wasn’t very relaxing. They also have a club in the ground floor of the rooms we stayed in and we could hear the boom of the bass all the way on the 6th floor where we were staying and had to turn the fan on high to drown out the sound.
I did visit the spa which was really nice and had nice massage.
As much as we love Lonavala itself, given all the disappointments, we won’t stay here again.
Day start with awsome breakfast, peaceful environment, clean room, excellent housekeeping...overall excellent stay. Thank you Radisson and your awsome team!!!
Can’t be a five star. Not even a 3 star.
Property - no ambience. In the middle of densely populated area. No view. Most of the time there is smoke coming from one side or the other as people around are burning waste.
Furniture is dirty and uncomfortable. Even dhabas have better furniture.
Loud music - like they play on streets - where as you expect a quiet time during sunset dinner on Terrace.
Staff don’t look at you or smile. They didn’t even offer the welcome drink when we checked in (and we could see the welcome drink jar on the side). They just don’t seem to understand hospitality at all. Staff is not trained at all. Even a 3 star would have better trained staff.
Food below par. Over 3 days we tried breakfast and dinner. Nothing was above 5 on 10. Cutlery was dirty. No knives on the tables? Which five star does that?
And they don’t serve peanuts in a bar ??? I haven’t seen one like that anywhere in India.
And charging $150/night. Most expensive hotel in the area. For what?
I feel I was fooled by the ratings. 4.7 ? can’t be. No way.
Shoma from the dining service was very good amazing service front desk was also very good almost all the staff was perfect I can say even till the tall door man he was very pleasent and always extremely helpful through out we got two suites though there’s nothing in their to make it a suite not even any ambiance literally room with a couch and ac is very very rattling and loud not worth the money better to keep a basic room
Everything was good . The disappointing part was finally at the billing desk. The person who was at the desk swiped the amount before even checking that our amount was already blocked at Expedia and we landed up paying Twice. We waited to be resolved for long ,but in vain. The concerned person assured that the amount will get reversed but still its pending. Its already been a week that we have visited the Property.
I have been trying to get in touch with the Property and the concerned person at the Cash, but he seems to be least bothered to pick up the call.
This was not the Ist time we are staying with Radisson. But experiencing something like wasnt expected.
Pro: The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. Live counters for egg and dosas, continental, Indian and both veg and non-veg options in plenty.
Con: The property has a good view of the hills but it has bars instead of windows which completely blocks the view!
It was neat, clean and beautiful. The staff was so humble, polite and caring. Everything was superb. The recreational area has lots of stuff including PS5. The gym is fully equipped with the latest equipment. I would surely visit again highly recommended
