There was no check in. No hospitality whatsoever. Room was clean and bed was comfy but coffee machine was useless (no filter basket) and no microwave although it was listed. There is a "community kitchen" where you bring your own food. I guess this is supposed to be "virtually managed" which means no management no hospitality. You just have to figure things out on your own. Good luck.
Stayed in the family suite with a party of 5. There was PLENTY of room for all. There is a full kitchen downstairs that can be used which is really convenient especially if staying multiple days. Check-in was completely automated with no one present on site. This was was easy to navigate but just FYI.
There are 5 essentials for a pleasant stay at any given hotel.
1. Bed. This bed was very comfortable.
2. Shower. This shower was wholly functional with good towels.
3. Morning coffee. The coffee pot was more a child's toy than a practical appliance. Serving size is 2.5 ounces. Ground Maxwell house coffee but no paper filter. Plan on going across the street to the Nesst Cafe for coffee in the morning.
4. Internet access. Service is spotty. My phone connects at times. My tablet does not. My wife's phone does not.
5. Temperature control. The A/C is remotely controlled and works well. The heater is controlled by a separate thermostat. Therefore, the Heater and A/C can operate simultaneously, canceling each other, and in fact did until we discovered the anomaly and shut the heater off.
Since the hotel is self-entry, no staff is present to address issues. The management must be more involved and proactive.
We were skeptical about this place when arrived and found just a keypad on the front door. We hadn't realized that it was self-check-in. We hadn't been sent a code, so we called the number and a helpful person ensured that we got in. Our room was excellent. Clean, and new-looking. The bed was extremely comfortable. Large TV. There was no breakfast service, but a large kitchen was available on the first floor if we had wanted to cook something. Large theatre room downstairs as well as a ping pong table. This was a nice place - we wished we were staying longer than one night. Would definitely stay here again.
No staff interaction. Room supplies like coffee & condiments not replenished. Rooms and building recently renovated, are in very good condition. Extensive kitchen and supplies available to guests willing to do their own cooking. Very limited dining available in this small isolated town. Be prepared to travel for meals or to prepare your own. Good grocery store across the street.
This was the perfect "off the beaten path" stay. It had everything you want in a room (tv, fridge, etc.) and had the cleanliness you expect from a hotel/Inn. I would recommend a stay here for anyone traveling.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The temperature was set just right. Kitchen and other areas very accessible and clean also

Disliked: Staff & service
The property is conveniently located on Highway 24, and the room is sizable and clean. But the water for shower was not too warm, the room key and front door codes were incorrect, so it took a while to get into our room.
What a hidden gem! This property is clean and comfortable. Their air conditioners are the quietest i have ever had. TV is huge! I would definitely stay here again.
This was a different experience for us. We haven't stayed at a place where there wasn't staff at the front desk and around the hotel. It was nice and quite which was great for us. The room was clean and comfortable.
This place was awesome! We didn't take advantage of all the community amenities since we only had time to sleep but we wanted to! This would be perfect for a large extended family trip to Capitol Reef. Everyone has their own room but can hang out in the common areas. We really appreciated the upkeep, the cleanliness, and the thoughtfulness. They didn't just provide the minimum like so many hotels. I would recommend this place to everyone.
WiFi has weak signal so the TV is useless. AC unit was broken. Nobody around to advise of issues. Check-In process is 5 Stars! Everything else was good.
The room was in the basement!!!, without a window. The AC was incredibly loud, and there was no hairdryer. First and last time.
That being said, it was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Property is like a huge mansion with 14 individual rooms, large common areas that include a very large kitchen, dining room, living area, including a basement level with a ping pong table and games. Even though we were a couple, we could appreciate the spaciousness of the property and ample personal space in the room. The stay felt less like a hotel and more like an Airbnb or Vrbo because check in was virtual. Even though I do like having staff on site, it was easy to text to get an answer to any of our questions. My wife would've appreciated a hair dryer in the room. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
