Five minutes walk in any direction to points of interest. Downsides of the property; the toilet and shower operate via a macerating system which is extremely noisy. We could hear other apartments using theirs. Also, the lifts do not go down, you have to go down via the stairs. We were on the 3rd floor! The bedroom wall was damp. Would I stay here again? What a wonderfully placed apartment! Right in the heart of town, with everything I needed right on the doorstep. As I’m from Liverpool I knew that I wanted to spend some time in the city and it was important that the apartment position was right. The problem with that, of course, is the noise. Lots of it too. From sirens, to fights, to bottled smashing, etc. The other issue that that the rooms aren’t air-conditioned and therefore get very warm. The windows don’t open particularly well so it difficult to ventilate the room. The bed was large and comfy, and the furniture in the living area was very high quality. The WiFi was quick too. No notification the lift was out of order. There were quite a few stains on walls, carpets and bedding. Took ages to find the 2nd toilet roll after buying some. The dining table could do with looking at as it was constantly wobbling. The sani-flow system was a constant irration due to the noise it made.
