This time my expectations were more realistic and I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman at the desk where I registered was incredibly hospitable, and the room was clean and had everything a solo traveler would need. I brought along a "noise" machine that masked exterior noises which was helpful considering the main railroad tracks just across a busy highway next to the hotel. I had no problems as a result, but it is a noisy neighborhood so be aware. The key worked and the lock light turned green, but the door would not open. It was like the deadbolt wouldn't release. The second room took several tries for the lock to recognize the key. We were there for 2 nights, and the key had to be reset both nights before it would work.
