Even thought the weather was up in the 90's the cottage stayed nice and cool. The beach is very close and wonderful for kayaking and paddle boarding.The only thing I would suggest is replacing the mattresses in the two main floor bedrooms. The bedroom/loft area was perfect for the boys to have their own space and the adults could enjoy peace and quiet on the main floor. The property was very clean and nicely updated. There were plenty of pillows for everyone, but luckily we brought two sleeping bags because we could not find linens for the futon bed. Even though we stayed during the fall time, it was still nice to be able to walk down to the beach so the boys could throw the football and skip rocks.
