When completing reservation, we were told on Experian that the breakfast was included but upon check-in we were told breakfast was not included. I feel like we were misled and overcharged because the breakfast was not part of the stay.

Beautiful Inn with the most attentive and welcoming staff. Truly a picturesque place to stay within walking distance of all the downtown restaurants and shops. We had both brunch and dinner at the inn a they were both phenomenal. Cocktails were equally amazing. Beds were a little firm which did not bother me, but did bother some in my group, however all said they would definitely come back and stay again. Many pros to this property and would highly recommend staying if you don’t mind a firmer mattress!

The property was beautiful and very well kept. The interior was immaculate. Staff was extremely help and friendly. Our room was smaller than we would prefer, but well furnished and clean.

Room and bathroom quite nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t I say breakfast is offered, as there were limited muffins and fruit. Bar and bartender made the trip as we were there midweek which limited our options for food, drink and downtown shopping. Beautiful area, we’ll be back.

I definitely enjoyed where the hotel was located walkable to everything I wanted to see ! I definitely enjoyed my room it felt like I was visiting a family members home. The food was delicious and I definitely enjoyed the creativity of the drink menu ! My Jack and coke was delicious !

The staff was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean. The only issue I had was the breakfast was not good. It consisted of a small muffin with no taste to it. It should not be called a breakfast. Very disappointed.

It’s a historic hotel so that’s the niche. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. if anything needs refrigerated you have to ask staff they might put medicine or something like that in their fridge in the back somewhere. No way to keep cold bottles of water or anything like that. We couldn’t keep the ice packs for the car cooler frozen. My mom asked for a bottle of water at the bar and was told there was none. The bartender didn’t bother to give her even a glass of water while charging me $26 for a bloody mary. She’s almost 80 and can’t have alcohol. No luggage trolley. There’s no food of any kind except weekends. No snack machine pop nothing. The AC kicks on in the room it’s so loud it’s unbearable and the other one in the back area didn’t work at all. Parking is very tight. The feather pillows and comforter were absolute perfection but the mattress was so hard (firm) my back and hips ached the second night so bad no sleep to be had. I don’t see me staying there again if I do it’ll be for my mom i’ll take an air mattress and suffer with very little ice and nothing cold to drink. And nothing to eat unless we find a restaurant that’s a whole ‘nother review which also is not 5 stars either. Sorry but people need to know what’s about to happen to them. The End lol.

The General Lewis Inn is so beautiful and located conveniently near the center of Lewisburg. The bedroom was very comfortable. The bar was nice, but there's no food during the middle of the week.

The Inn is always clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the charm of a non-chain hotel. The front and back porches are wonderful places to sit and relax. I also enjoy walking to the downtown shops and restaurants from the Inn.

What a beautiful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. We ate dinner in their restaurant and the food was great. We had the trout and crab cakes. The place was extremely clean and well maintained. Loved our room. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely being staying again.

Love the historical ambiance and proximity to downtown Lewisburg. The staff was very helpful with their recommendations for restaurants and site seeing. The bed was too hard for our liking, but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
