Renovated A a few years ago , Barley cottage has a spacious area downstairs , still retaining charm and old beams of its past life as a grain store to the farm. Tastefully converted into a 2 bedrooms with en suite and a more open plan layout downstairs. Under floor heating and Wi-Fi available, this cottage also boasts a separate fridge and freezer , dishwasher and washing machine. A small outside garden to the front and courtyard to the rear. Many footpaths are almost on the doorstep , including the Weald way and the Vanguards way. Pubs are plentiful and a short distance , fresh local produce can be bought at either the local village shop in Muddles Green or at a variety of farm shops close by. The South downs are about 15 minutes drive from the cottage , and Eastbourne is 25 minutes. We also live close to Ashdown Forest , and many national trust properties including Burling Gap and Seven Sisters , Sissinghurst castle and Batemans. Parking Infront of the property, but for 2 cars max only 4 people maximum . Barley Cottage is a lovely well-appointed cottage, with kind friendly helpful owners who gave us some excellent suggestions for places to go.
