This six-person, dog-friendly cottage is set in a charming seaside village in the wild natural beauty of the Suffolk and Essex Coast and Heaths National Landscape. With a garden, open fire and relaxing dining room, you''ll have everything you need to host a memorable getaway with your loved ones.
Step inside this wooden-clad, two-storey property and find yourself in the dining room with wooden furnishings and coastal-themed decor. Connected to this space is an airy lounge. Two sofas and an armchair surround an open fire and sit beside the sliding patio doors. Continue into the bright, neutral-toned farmhouse-style kitchen with wooden countertops and a breakfast bar. Upstairs are three bedrooms - a twin zip-and-link, a super-king-size and a children''s twin room. Completing the interior is a family bathroom. Outside, is an enclosed garden with a paved area, lawn and furniture.
Explore your surroundings and wander around the idyllic seaside village of Thorpeness. Pop into the local pub or cafe before heading to the sand and shingle Thorpeness Beach (0.5 miles). Take Fido for a run around Hundred River or hire a boat from The Dragons Den (1 mile). Also nearby are plenty of walking trails through the RSPB North Warren Nature Reserve and Haven Nature Reserve Aldeburgh (both within 3.5 miles). Visit the neighbouring town of Aldeburgh (2 miles) and stop at the museums or browse the independent shops. Venture further afield to find the historic Orfordness Beacon (12.5 miles) or the ruins of Leiston Abbey (4 miles).
