We stayed end of September which isn't the best time to experience this location. It was super windy. Conditions were not good for getting into the water. It's the end of the season and fairly isolated. You definitely need a car and have to go into Lecce or some other bigger city for restaurants. Additionally, there's internet but no wi-fi, an important distinction if you don't have international service as part of your phone plan (it impacts ability to use What's app, etc.). The accommodations were bare bones. No oven or microwave. Limited supplies were provided--sugar, salt, olive oil, water, toilet paper, but not much else, which was a huge contrast to our previous B&B in Ostuni.Host responded promptly to our inquiries. We mistakenly hit the switch for the hot water heater and he got back to us quickly about how to remedy the situation.
