This is either the best find, price-wise or one of the scariest hotels in the area.
You can tell that this used to be a thriving location. It has all of the amenities and layout of a 4-star hotel. It currently looks like the owners have ran out of money to afford the upkeep of the business. There is no cable television or WIFI, no pool, closed restaurant and bar, meaning no breakfast or meals. There are no parking lot lights, all bulbs are blown. Most people that stay there, all park in like 12 spots that are along the front dark lot. I wish I knew what the plans for this business are. I will say that the room that I stayed in for the weekend was pretty clean and did not smell. So, like I said, I don't know if this an exceptional budget find or the scariest hotel in Lansing. I wish they would fix it up. As someone who specializes in CRE, you do have to invest some money to make money.
Wasn't the cleanest, no restaurant, but quiet and able to rest.

The hotel has fallen into neglect. There was hair on the sheets. The lamp didn't work. The staff was nice.

Room was nice enough and the staff was friendly and the bed was probably the best we've encountered at a hotel. Though the hotel seems to be serving as a shelter. We didn't experience any issues due to this, but overheard staff conversations and signs on the door forbidding media access imply issues aren't unheard of, though couldn't say if they are more frequent than with the general population.
The building was probably beautiful in its hay day. There was no real lighting on the outside of the building. The carpets definitely need replaced in the lobby. There were homeless people sleeping on the couches as part of a state program, which is great! Wish this was happening in other places. But it does seem to be keeping business from what was probably a nice hotel. Pet friendly so that’s really nice. The pictures on Expedia are very misleading. Real “Shinning” vibes from this place.
Great place Amazing staff!
The rooms were quite big and nicely set up and decorated. By far the most comfortable, spacious, and over all nicest hotel iv stayed in so far!
The lobby was super cool with gardens to walk through, elevators, the whole building is very nicely decorated and yeah just amazing rooms!!!

The property was clean with a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the building itself has seen better days.
Everything was closed, the restaurant, the pool, everything. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Fairly easy check in. The room was a very good value for the price. Loud neighboring guests. A front desk representative interrupted my wife's phone conversation to ask what room she was staying in. The inference was that she wasn't supposed to be there.

Comfortable
It was a comfortable room. Our deadbolt wouldn't lock and I didn't like the parking. Those are my only complaints! Other than that, room was nice and clean and it was perfect for a quick sleep.
The receptionist was extremely friendly and had us checked in after only a few minutes after arrival. We were given a 4th floor end room which was very clean and quiet. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel, even when considering comparison to a hotel 3x-4x the cost per night. The linens were crisp and freshly washed as well.
The hotel is HUGE, and the staff are very nice, the room is very spacious and its a pet friendly stay. The hotel is under construction so the amenities are not available such as, the lounge bar or the pool or anything like that, but if your looking for a room to crash out in and have a pet then this place is good. Its very quiet there, no issues with the room, staff is VERY honest as they called us to let us know my husband left his wallet ( that alone says alot about the staff).

Rooms were clean, gym, pool and restaurant were closed. The hotel is pretty run down and parking is pretty inconvenient. Not much in the area except fast food and gas stations, 15 minutes from campus. Staff was very nice and helpful
Google maps took us to the back entrance- it looked abandoned- need more lights and signs.
Inside was fine- I will say the beds, pillows and linens were amazing! Most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel!
You just need to do something about the outside lighting.
