Great location. Had everything we needed in the house. Host was great with communication and even when we couldn’t find the street due to heavy snowfall. Will be visiting again next winter.
The property and cabin are beautiful. Lake is crystal clear. Nice walking trails throughout the property. Cabin was very clean. We enjoyed our fall stay.
With 13 in our family, we were looking for a place with many beds. The 6 kids LOVED the upstairs bunk room with the mini-family room and spent hours together playing games. Very well-equipped and immaculate kitchen with a gigantic table near a 4-top so everyone eats together. Nice little beach for the smaller kids with plenty of sand for building. Many fish were caught off the pier. There is also a gigantic "swing set" that ALL ages enjoyed! There is lots of attention to details.
We had a wonderful week-long stay at this cabin over Christmas. Because it was winter, we spent most of our time indoors, and the cabin was perfect for relaxing together as a family. It was very clean when we arrived, and the kitchen was impressively well-stocked with accessories, cookware, and supplies, which made preparing meals for a large group much easier. The listing was accurate, and everything matched our expectations. We had a minor issue with the heating when we first arrived, but the host responded quickly and helped us resolve it right away. The basement bar area became a favorite spot for everyone—great seating, two high-top tables, a mini fridge, a large ice maker, and a smart TV for watching sports. The walk-out access was a nice bonus. The location is quiet and peaceful, tucked away in the woods and right on the lake. Even though we couldn’t enjoy the water in winter, the frozen lake made for beautiful, clear nights of stargazing. The upstairs bedrooms were also perfect for our group of eight kids, who enjoyed having their own space with plenty of beds and a sitting area with another smart TV.One thing to note is that sound carries easily throughout the home. With a large group, this meant using sound machine apps at night. Also, there are only two TVs in the home—one upstairs and one in the basement. I personally liked this, but some family members would have enjoyed a TV in the main living room for movie nights by the fireplace.Overall, we had a great stay
