Staff was great, food was amazing, service was perfect but if I knew the hotel faces a high school and lacrosse field - I probably would not have booked. The TV did not work but the beds are comfortable and rooms are clean.

Beautiful city. Cabins past their prime.
Address was not correct on the email from VRBO. Cabin advertised was not the one we were put in. Floor was not vacuumed. River on property is amazing. Don’t expect much more than a camp house. This was all fine for 4 guys, glad the wives didn’t come lol! Property lacks upkeep. Still a great vacation ...

As the fall colors continue to show their brilliance the high country of Colorado slowly turns to a golden brown waiting for the first snows of winter. Uncompagre Peak 14,309’ is located just west of Lake City CO, it’s neighbor Wetterhorn Peak 14,015’ make and epic fall trip. It’s possible to drive 4wd to both trailheads and cut across country between the peaks for an epic day in the high country. Be aware that Wetterhorn has severe exposure and it’s required that you have some climbing ability to reach the summit.
