"I recently stayed at Aisha VIP Camp and honestly, it was one of the most memorable parts of my trip. "On arrival we were asked to book additional transfers plus meals to get to our tents on the other side of the desert. Luckily we could change to the rooms inside Les Pyramides. "The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. "Desert Camp run by very friendly hosts, we enjoyed our time there. Room was spacious and comfortable. We did a camel trek to the camp (extra fee) which was a great experience in itself. In the evening, there was traditional Berber music around a campfire, which was good fun. Would recommend."

"What an incredible experience this was. Hafid and his staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The setting was spectacular and peaceful. The staff was so friendly and hospitable. "On arrival we were asked to book additional transfers plus meals to get to our tents on the other side of the desert. Luckily we could change to the rooms inside Les Pyramides. It was not clear during booking, that the tents need additional for pay transport. We thought the tents were just behind the main building. Cleanliness of the rooms was ok."

"I was excited about this place, having read the 5 star reviews. However, what I read in the reviews did not jive with our experience there. The place appears to be quite run down. The furniture in the rooms was tattered and dirty, the toilet was loose from the floor, the towels were well-worn and hard and felt like they weren’t clean. I realized why when I went in the public bathroom - I was filthy beyond belief and there was a very old washer/spin dryer there which appears to be what the staff used for the towels. There were Christmas decorations and a Happy New Year sign in the dining room. It’s like the place had been unused for a while and no one bothered to freshen it up despite having guests. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was nice enough. There were workers there while we were there, redoing some of the wall area, and they were hanging about well into the evening and had tools and gravel all about right in front of our door. The worst thing was in the morning when we woke and went outside, we noticed a few men sleeping in the courtyard and by the pool on the benches. They did not appear to be staff. It made us uncomfortable. Perhaps they were the men working on the wall but in any case, I thought it was quite inappropriate. I usually trust Hotels reviews but this really made me think twice. "
