We arrived in this shabby old hotel. The lobby smelled of sigarettes, and spider nets in the ceiling. We had upgraded to the executive suite and the room was terrible. A dirty old rug on the floor, long black hair in the floor in the bathroom. The toilet and the sink had not been cleaned at all. No covers on the bed, only a fleece blanket that could cover the legs. And as of the cleanness of the rest of the room, we didn’t take the chance on using the blanket at all. Slept with our clothes on. The sheets and pillow looked clean. There was mold all over the toilet, and spiders in the bathroom. The A/C didn't work, there was no remote to the TV, and no WiFi. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is its practical location to the boats to get to the Perhentian islands (not even a 2 minute walk). Other than that it is somewhere I will never stay again; our bed had no cover, the sheet was stained, as were the pillows, and even the towels if we wanted to shower, as well as the floor! My boyfriend and I stayed one night and slept terribly, fully clothed trying to not touch the stains on the mattress sheet. Un changement d'horaires d'Air Asia m'a obligé à passer une nuit à Kuala Besut avant de partir pour les Perhentians. J'ai choisi cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec la jetty mais je ne ferai pas la même erreur deux fois. Staff were pleasant on check-in, able to answerr my questions. The room was very basic, but clean. The toilet and the room were so dirty. I was so surprised and shocked to see that kind of toilet was still exists in 2017\. The aircon was leaking at all time . The lady at reception was so rude . I booked a room of 4 single beds. Once I checked in, the reception informed it was a room of 2 double decker bed but with one bed broken. We had to move to another room which we had to pay extra fees.
