Coconut Laguna BEACH– L4 Holiday Villa with private pool directly on the Beach of Bang Por The Samui villa is situated directly on the beach of Bang Por, features 2 exterior staircases, which are leading up to the separate entrances of the first and second bedroom, each with a large balcony. The first villa bedroom exposes a beautiful view onto the beach and overlooking the sea, while the second bedroom is on the backside of the villa overlooking the garden. They are both equipped with a double bed , air-conditioners, mirrored dressing tables and a flat screen TV. with direct access to the en-suite bathrooms, presenting double wash basins, large mirrors, shower and WC. The upper floor is the perfect vacation setup for a family or friends, providing enough space for personal toiletries and towels. To access the third bedroom on the first floor, there is a private entrance directly from the outside. It is also equipped with a double bed, air-conditioner, mirrored dressing table and a flat screen TV. It has direct access to the en-suite bath with wash basin, large mirror, shower and WC, and lots of shelf space for personal amenities. The living and dining area, is equipped with a comfortable built-in kitchen made of hardwoods. Special features to this holiday area include an extractor hood, four ceramic hot-plates, and a large refrigerator. An ‘athome’ feel is created with the placement of a very comfortable couch in front of the flat screen TV mounted on the wall, with a dining table nearby to add to the living quarter’s versatility. A desk top computer, working station set with Wi-Fi Internet connection is also established for the guests of this immaculate beach vacation home. An attractive lounge-suite on the roofed terrace, with ceiling fans to direct the cooling breezes in the hot afternoons, looks down and onto the swimming pool and Jacuzzi; with a stunning view down the beaches of Bang Por to the island of Phangan. This one-of- a- kind view, is certain to put any weary traveler into the holiday spirit within moments of relaxing into their holiday home. The large dining table, seating up to six persons, is large enough for a breakfast from a nearby restaurant which can be ordered for delivery to the villa. Lunch and dinner are also available for personalized catering. If you like to make a BBQ, you can do this in the outdoor-kitchen directly next to the terrace. A large swimming pool graces the middle of the resort, surrounded by palm trees and ornamental shrubs, which brilliantly flower throughout the whole year. It was very wet weather most days, and walking to the upstairs bedrooms was extremely dangerous. It has no cover so we got soaked coming to and from and nearly slipped several times. This is a major fault and should be rectified immediately before there’s a fatal accident. The garden area hadn’t been maintained and was overgrown and messy. Not good enough. The place inside is old and tired looking, but had all the amenities. Cleaners came in whenever they chose, even if you were having breakfast, which was invasive. They should be told not to enter until the guests have departed for the day. The exercise gear was old and rusted and should be removed. The house and its configuration are perhaps the best reason to stay here though: kitchen/living area with big flat screen TV leading onto the pool and deck leading onto the sand and ocean – its just great. The kitchen is equipped with dishes and appliances, and bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and clean. We had a privat pool with jacuzzi. I recommend having coral slippers for swimming in the sea. The house is comfortable and well appointed with a small but ok sized private pool and is directly on the beach. The back porch opens up to the pool area and is a great place to relax and enjoy a morning coffee or evening beer while listening to the waves. The place is great though not for everyone: Positives: directly on beach with private pool; walking distance to many pleasant (not luxurious but good and fairly cheap) restaurants along with a few shops (bakery, fruit vendor, drug store and convenience stores); quiet beach; shallow water which is good for kids; Negatives: beach is not great for water sport as the water is very shallow with many rocks; not much nightlife in the immediate area; the bedrooms are all entered externally (not great for young kids). ##### Jeff D. Im Meer liegen einige einzelne Steine, aufpassen dass man sich die Zehen nicht anschlägt (Badeschuhe!). Sonst sehr schöner und sauberer Sandstrand. Flach, bei Ebbe schwimmen nicht möglich. Die Liegen am Strand dürften auch erneuert werden, sind aber funktionstüchtig (2 am Strand, 4 im Garten). Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, viele Kästen und Schubladen. Küche sehr gut eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht. Kein Geschirrspüler, kejn Backofen. Die Duscharmaturen sind alt, Armaturen rostig, das finde ich schade! Müsdten erneuert werden. Bäckerei in 15 Gehminuten mit sehr feinem Brot. Abendessen direkt dem Strand entlang laufen, mehrere gute Restaurants in beide Richtungen mit Tischen im Sand! Einmalig! Mietauto beim Vermieter gebucht zwar günstig, war aber innen und aussen sehr schmutzig, müsste nicht sein! Haben deshalb zwei Gratis-Massagesessions bekommen, finde ich fair. Massageson direkt am Strand wenige Schritte sehr zu empfehlen! 1 Stunde 500 THB. Tägliche Grundreinigung (wischen, Abfallentsorgung), alle 4 Tage neue Bettwäsche und neue Dusch- und Strandtücher! Das ist top! Genügend Aircondition und Ventilatoren auch im Sitzplatzbereich. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann. Roberto und seine Frau haben sich um alles gekümmert. Wir hatten sogar Sachen zum Frühstück für die ersten paar Tage im Kühlschrank wie Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Kaffee etc. Danke nochmals dafür. Es entsprach 1:1 den Bildern im Internet. Was für ein schöner Tagesanfang mit der Kaffeetasse am Meer zu sitzen und dem Wellenrauschen zuzuhören. Ein paar Minuten am Strand entlang gibt es ein tolles Restaurant und gleich oben an der Strasse eine Garküche, welche das Essen auch liefert. Für eine Familie mit Kindern/Teenagern absolut perfekt und sehr luxuriös, aber not too much. Ein süßes Strandrestaurant für abends ist keine 100m entfernt, ansonsten kann man sich sehr gut selbst versorgen in der voll ausgestatteten Küche oder über die Straße zum leckeren Imbiss gehen. Kleine Einkäufe im SevenEleven ca. 1km zu Fuß. Der Night Market für größere Einkäufe ist ca. 5km entfernt, Orte mit Leben und Geschäften zB Fishermans Village eher 8-10km. Ein Auto zu haben ist super, kann man für einen guten Preis bei der Rezeption bekommen.
