Although we didn't take advantage of all yoga classes and fitness centre available (due to our short stay and wanting to explore the island), we still absolutely loved our stay here. Really nice spacious rooms in beautiful surroundings. The owner went above and beyond helpful and even helped me to return a rental and gave us a lift to the pieer when we left. Couldn't recommend highly enough! The Jungle View room was much better than expected, comfy and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff were super friendly, especially the porter, who was very helpful (maybe a bit too helpful—he kept offering rides, but I rented a scooter instead). The German lady in charge was really kind and welcoming. I was a bit nervous because of some mixed reviews, but my experience was really positive. Compared to pricier options on nearby islands like Koh Kood and Koh Chang, this place felt affordable, though it could be slightly cheaper. The gym, pool, and yoga classes were nice, but don’t expect a full-on sports complex. If you’re into fitness, check out the nearby Elite Fight Club Muay Thai camp—it’s awesome and underrated. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re traveling solo or as a couple. It’s a great base to explore the island, relax, and do some activities. Definitely recommend! The only thing I didn't like was that the room got very bright in the morning so it made me wake up very early. Also there were alot of birds or something bouncing around on the roof which kept me awake. The resort is located up a little hill, but you can reach the „main road“ within 5 mins. It’s a very quiet place and a breeze cooks down the room so we never had to use the aircondition, but only the fan. Mr. Peak, the manager, is a very helpful and friendly person. You always get fresh coffee (from Chian Mai) for only 30 Baht. Wurden kostenlos vom Pier abgeholt und auch wieder hingebracht bei der Abreise. Konnten direkt im Hotel einen Roller gÞnstig mieten. In der nÃĪheren Umgebung waren viele EinkaufsmÃķglich, Restaurants. Der Ao Soun Yai Beach war nicht weit weg (kaum sandflies!). Pool war optisch schÃķn, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Allerdings hat das Resort unserer Meinung nach das Preis-LeistungsverhÃĪltnis nicht gepasst. Wir hatten kein Wifi, kein warmes Wasser (zumindest haben wir den Boiler nicht zum laufen gebracht), das Fenster direkt an der Treppe konnte nicht geschlossen werden. Outdoor-Gym ist dermaßen in die Jahre gekommen. Luckily we found the manager in his private house and he kindly checked us in. The beds were fine, but the room was backpackerish and quite expensive compared to resorts near the beach. We had a fine, simple breakfast buffet included in the room. The staff was very friendlly and made me feel comfortable right away. My suite was spacious, clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Convenient Location Very characheristic suite with great view. The staff. Mr. Biek have been very helpful and nice. It is not right at the beach, but you can walk within a few minutes to different beautiful beaches. There was no bed sheet, but two half covers for each person, akin to a large towel (see pic). Once the cleaning staff did not clean the room, although a call to the management remedied that. They failed to remove the used towels at that time however. One day the cleaning staff failed to re-provision the coffee packets. There was no electrical outlet for the coffee pot anywhere close to where it set, it had to be carried across the room to be used. The front office is only staffed by one person, who often has to be away from the desk. The fresh flowers on day one was wilted by day three (see pic).
