Cardinal's Steps This swimming pool, freshly refilled twice a day by the tides, was despite its often chilly water temperatures a popular spot with local residents and summer visitors alike for many years until after WW2. It then fell into disuse, was vandalised and the local council decided to stop maintaining it.
