It’s right at the entrance to the beach, a great bike rental is a 5 minute walk away and we could bike to the Wright National Monument. Many restaurant offers and we loved the homemade breakfast each day at the inn. The guest room was spacious, cozy and the modern bathrooms were perfect. Bill and Veda are the sweetest and make sure we had everything we needed. They recommended awesome things for us to do and see while there. Breakfast each morning was the absolute best!! Very cute place with many amenities to support time at the beach. Centrally located to everything. The beach is right across the street. Breakfast was fantastic and Bill was so great to talk to. Even though they had a death in the family while we were there they had a backup plan and we were still well cared for. Loved the east access to the beach, the wonderful breakfast, the beautiful room and bath but most of all, Veda and Bill are great hosts!! I would recommend this Inn to everyone I know that is traveling to this area. I haven’t mentioned how fun the area is but the whole area is relaxing , has great seafood restaurants, the Wright Brothers Memorial brought to life just what the brothers went through in planning and executing the first flight; we loved seeing the lighthouses (the Bodie Island Lighthouse was our favorite) but the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse was amazing as well and to know that engineers planned and had a team move this lighthouse 2,900 feet in 1999 to protect it from being washed out in the ocean was an unbelievable feet. If you are looking for a vacation where you just want to relax, this is it!! Thank you to the Cypress Inn for the nice accommodations!! They were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. We enjoyed meeting other guests from other parts of the country. The room was cozy, the bathroom was modern, and the breakfasts were delicious.
