  • On The Mapp #1 is ready for your next OBX vacation! This bright and beachy cottage is conveniently located in the heart of OBX on the soundside at milepost 6 in Kill Devil Hills. Cottage is 3 bedrooms (plus a queen sleeper sofa in livingroom ) & 2 bathrooms and located three streets away from beach access with parking! Just minutes away from the sound, multi-use trail that runs along Bay Drive, and public gazebo dock that's perfect for watching sunsets. Cottage is in pristine condition.

Loved our stay, the house was perfect, clean and so convenient to everything. Wasn’t sure about the mattress when I sat on the bed, but it was extremely comfortable and I slept well. Would definitely recommend spending your vacation here.

We had a great time at this cute little house. The teens enjoyed the bikes and it was helpful having beach chairs. Although we couldn’t walk to the beach, we had no problem parking. Would definitely stay again.

very nice responsive hosts, lovely and cozy, clean home, which is in very conveniently located. Minor negatives are: all 3 beds have lumpy mattress ; only given 1 toilet paper roll per each bathroom, which was not enough for 5 people for 4 days, also bathroom had only hand soap, no body wash, which possibly mentioned in the listing, but we completely missed it. Overall had great experience!

The place was absolutely clean, beautiful and such a cozy place to stay for our 6 days. Close to everything and beach not even a mile away. it was our first family trip, our first trip to the OBX & our first vacation with our kiddos. we will be back. 10/10 recommend.
