Nice view of the ocean and the harbor from our baloney. The room was very clean and it was nice having a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, the rooms are very spacious. The down side the decor and furniture is very outdated. Management said they have ordered new furniture. so that's a plus. Great location if you need to be near Homestead, Florida but want to enjoy part of the Keys. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet on the weekends, boat traffic with their stereo systems and the restaurant across the channel were a bit too loud. Every employee that I interacted with was smiling, talkative and very helpful with any questions I had. Negatives- Our bed could have used a new mattress-getting worn and it would have been great if the units and an oven because all we could do was cook on the cooktop and in the microwave. Should consider installing key cards for the rooms instead of the old school metal keys.
