Mai's Cabin located in Kerhonkson, Upstate, Catskills area. About 2 hrs drive from New York city. It's just a 10-minute drive to Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Preserve, 15 mins to High Falls and Stone Ridge. 30 mins to Ashokan Reservoir. There are many farm stands, breweries, galleries, restaurants only mins away. Rock climbing, hiking/ biking trails ( bring your bike) and secret swimming holes within a few minutes. Added benefit of a fully functional kitchen and tuned piano… who could ask for more. The cabin is uniquely furnished, beds are comfortable. We hope to return when in the area. On the negative side, the neighborhood was mainly trailers and inadequate window coverings created a lack of privacy at night. There was no cable tv and the reception of Netflix and Samsung tv was intermittent. We were told to remove our shoes indoors and that there was no smoking, even on the outside deck.
