Hawthorne Manor is a stunning 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom, country estate in Kangaloon, located 15 minutes from Bowral and 10 minutes from Robertson. This expansive 3-acre property offers sublime views from every room and accommodates up to 18 people. It's resort like facilities include an infinity edge pool with stunning views, spa, tennis court, half basketball court, an impressively equipped gym, infra-red sauna, cubby house, games room, pool table, pinball machine and table tennis table. With multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, open log fires and reverse cycle air-conditioning, it caters for all seasons. From the moment you enter the double gates you will be captivated by the breathtaking and expansive views of rolling green hills and dairy farms surrounding the Wingecarribee Resevoir, For guests arriving at night, automatic lights will guide you down the treelined driveway to the architecturally designed home, which sits proudly at one of the highest points in the Southern Highlands. A grand entrance awaits you, courtesy of oversized 18th century double front doors and, once inside, you will be captivated by the styling and space offered. This home has everything you and your guests will need for a relaxing and unforgettable stay including: 1\. 6 superbly decorated extra-large bedrooms, 3 are located upstairs and 3 downstairs. There are 10 beds in total including 3 king beds, 3 queen beds, 1 double bed, 1 queen sofa bed and 2 single beds. All rooms have heating, cooling, electric blankets and built in wardrobes or hanging racks. \- Bedroom 1 (the "master" bedroom) has a king bed, large ensuite, built in wardrobes, a gas fireplace, reverse cycle air conditioning and under floor gas heating. \- Bedroom 2 (the "green" bedroom) has a queen bed and a double bed, gas fireplace, under floor gas heating and a French armoire. The adjacent dining room boasts a gorgeous 14 seat Sally Beresford farmhouse dining table 8\. There is a full laundry complete with washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board and large second fridge 9\. There is a covered verandah accessed from the main lounge room, which includes a BBQ, heating and a bench table & chairs, well suited for drinks taking in the beautiful view. 10\. The back verandah also offers another dining table with seating for 10, as well as an outdoor lounge, perfect for relaxing while watching kids in the pool. 11\. The back verandah leads straight out onto the fully fenced infinity edge pool and spa, which boasts stunning views of the countryside - the perfect spot to unwind. 12\. Upstairs there is a kid's playroom, complete with 75-inch TV, Playstation Pro with multiple games, Retro gaming table, toys, books and bean bags. 13\. For those wanting to curl up and read a book, there is also another lounge and bookshelf upstairs 14\. Outside there is a full-size tennis court with lighting in Australian Open colours and finish, with a half basketball court. The house was warm and inviting and everyone in the family had a comfortable space. The living area and kitchen was a great communal space and was perfect for family dinners. By far the most impressive thing was the pool and spa that sits in front a spectacular view. The photos do not do the view justice and the family now have great memories of watching the sun set from the spa. ##### Reina G. The six grandsons (and adults) were kept well entertained with the pool, tennis court, basketball, table tennis, snooker, arcade games, etc. The house's proximity to the surrounding towns provided extra interest and everyone had such a wonderful holiday. The views from the house were just mesmerising. Can highly recommend for a luxurious, secluded getaway! ##### Frances S. The new swimming pool is such a lovely surprise! We had various enjoyable moments in the pool - from hot day splashing, sunset watching in the pool, to night time spa in drizzling with pool light. The only pity is with the cleanness (e.g. the bin in the master toilet wasn't emptied, Check in supposed to be no person contact however the cleaner stayed in the house for another 30 minutes after we arrived). Kendall was a great host and very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a break for a few days. ##### Christine T. Exceptionally homely for its vast size. Great for our requirements. 3 generations together for 4 days (OMG!). the bedrooms are laid out to perfectly provide 3 distinct areas ..perfect. The property was absolutely perfect (and exactly as described) and had plenty to do for everyone ranging from 2 to 82 and those in between. We all loved the house. It was exceptionally clean and had wonderful facilities. We had a mixture of weather and while the sun was shining we enjoyed the tennis court and kids cubby house. While it was raining we loved the pinball machine, arcade games table and the many big TV’s. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean and we enjoyed cooking our meals. The host and property manager were very responsive to any questions we had both before and during the stay. All up a wonderful house in a beautiful part of NSW. ##### Therese C. The house was well equipped with everything needed and the kids were entertained with a huge range of outdoor and indoor activities. The layout works really well for big groups and the size of the house means you never feel like your on top of each other. The owner and the manager were very helpful with our inquiries. The bedrooms are stunning. The view from the kitchen window is amazing. We had our three adult children, their husbands and wives and our 8 grandchildren, totalling 16 altogether. Lots of room to play. The children took a great interest in the chickens and gave them all names. We played tennis and basketball and took a short trip to Carrington Falls where we swam in the loveliest surroundings.
