Yowie 3 - (Yowie Lodge)

  • Perfect for families or couples wanting a snow/ski holiday in winter or mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, water/jet skiing, golfing, kayak/canoeing and horse riding in summer.

    'Yowie 3' is a modern, self contained charming top floor apartment/Lodge in a small block of 4 units.

    In Jindabyne, sleeping up to 6 people. (Council approved for 6 only).

    Walk to the town centre, local shops, restaurants, eateries, bars, cafes and the lake.

    The snowfields of Perisher or Thredbo are an easy 25-35 min drive by car or the bus stop is just around the corner.

    Boat ramp is located a 5-6 minute drive away.

    Cosy wood fire, (FREE - barrel of wood and kindle supplied each stay - Winter only) to relax in front of after a great days skiing/boarding or just snow play.

    Inverter air conditioner for warmth in winter & cooling in summer.

    Oil heaters in both bedrooms

    Comfy lounge with 55 inch Hisense UHD smart TV.

    Blu ray DVD player with DVD's and games for the kids.

What a great place! Jindabyne is both a summer and winter favourite of ours and to find a place to stay that is so cute and comfortable was a blessing! We would love to make this our regular place to stay whenever we return.

Very comfortable place

Fantastic stay at Yowie 3

Stayed 4 nights with 2 teenage children. Yowie 3 was very clean and comfortable with such a nice cosy feel. Loved the fire, definitely felt like we were in the mountains. Hosts were great, made sure everything was ok for our stay. Fantastic location close to shops, restaurants and the lake. Would definitely stay at Yowie 3 again.

Easter break

Cozy Stay

This charming home is the best cozy vibes! We enjoyed unwinding by the fireplace, snuggling under the throw blankets, and reminiscing with the DVD collection and board games. We definitely plan to book again in the future; we only wish we had more time to fully enjoy this delightful retreat.

Had a nice stay. The kitchen and bathroom could do with an update and cooking pots needed a good scrub with steel wool before we used them. They had food stains but cleaned up fine. Perfect Short Ski Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Yowie 3 because we were after a short notice 2 night,6 person family stay,that was competitively priced with good access to the snowfields. Not easy to find at this time of the season.But Yowie was perfect for what we needed:easy access,great communication with the host,close proximity to everything you’d need in Jindy,an easy run to the snowfields,and a lovely warm ski chalet vibe. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

This apartment is just a convenient delight. It has literally everything you need and is well maintained and is extremely comfortable. Our kids (8yrs and 10yrs) loved the bunks and double bed and the location is an easy walk to the town and the shops. For runners, parkrun is held along the lake and it is an easy walk to the start and the path along the lake is great for scootering, biking, running and walking. We all particularly enjoyed Birchwood cafe which is nearby. We stayed during summer and it was an easy drive to get up to Thredbo village for hiking and mountain biking. We just loved our stay and would definitely return.

We only stayed for one night because we were just passing through but would have loved to stay longer. very cozy, clean and comfortable. everything you could need has been thought of and provided. I did find it difficult to contact the host but I think that's more to do with the Stayz website. highly recommend, excellent value for money.

First visit to Jindabyne

I was on a driving holiday and visiting Jindabyne for the first time hoping to get in a few beginner walks. The property was located in a wonderful location walking distance to the lake which has a couple options for walking. The property had excellent features with everything you need after exploring the surrounding townships. Was able to relax after long days. Definitely a property set up for both Summer and Winter holidays. You can drive to Thredbo and take the chairlift (at a cost) to take 4 - 6 hrs the Mount Kosciuszko Summit walk noting you need to be prepared for various conditions. I hope to get back in Spring when it was not so hot on the days I visited. I was interested in the Snowy Mountain Scheme which was well covered by the museum at Adaminaby.
