The room smelled like a chemical. On check our day nobody was at the front desk. We had packed our bags and left them in the room. I told the hotel we d be back by noon for checkout . When we came back our hotel room door was wide open w our luggage to be seen. And that in a country where safety is of constant discussion .. if we had told the security officer at the airport that our luggage was standing in a hotel with anyone to access it, we could have been denied leaving the country.
