The two full bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous, having been remodeled with premier finishes. Situated in the ideal location, 1611 Sea Dunes is just a few steps to the beach. Literally walk right out to the shoreline from the private back patio and enjoy the stunning sunrises, dolphin sightings, and warm, ocean breezes while digging your toes into the sand. The refreshing, newly-renovated community pool is a short two-minute walk away, and guests can access the private tennis courts for an invigorating match with family or friends. It does not feel either like a rental or one that takes dogs. The Omni Amelia Island plantation is a great family friendly location yet also near lots of stuff. The beach is pristine and uncrowded. Small but fun aside: the pool is larger and much more fun than the other buildings which was great for kids. Destination Amelia rentals is easy and super responsive, if needed. This was our son’s 1st family vacation so we have such great memories and he had fun too. The condo was in such a great location in a gated plantation too. One of the surprises to us was how close the condo was to the beach which we couldn’t completely tell from the pictures. Everything was very clean, quiet, and the kitchen made cooking in really easy. The Property Manager made everything from booking to arrival easy and was very responsive about our questions. We really enjoyed the beach and shaded walking paths too. Ground floor, which was great with the dogs and older people! This unit is steps to the beach and pool. Very clean and had everything we needed and more! Felt comfortable and safe. Grounds were very well kept. Make sure to ask about the shuttle and gate code to the pool that you will need. Hard to find good restaurants at the resort. Don’t even try to use your GPS. It will lead you all over the place. Take the shuttle as parking is very limited at the resort. The restaurants on the resort were over priced the food was mediocre at best. Found much better food off the resort at local places. Would defiantly recommend this property. Make sure you bring a flashlight for walking after dark. ##### Vicki C. Condo on ground floor is great with dogs. There are walking paths along ocean and all thru the Omni property. Cleanliness of condo is the the best I’ve seen in a long time. The location is beautiful and the condo was spotless. We had everything we needed. It's away from any hustle and bustle of a business district but close enough to go out to eat, shop, etc. whenever you feel like it.
