Coastal Blue #1 is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom property that is the ideal place to stay during your next visit to Amelia Island. It has been recently updated including a new deck. From the lower level guests enter the living room, which offers comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV. The dining area seats four and is right next to the recently updated kitchen, including all new appliances, flooring, and countertops. From the downstairs level, guests also have access to the laundry room with washer and dryer. Both bedrooms are on the upstairs level. In the primary bedroom, guests will enjoy a cozy king mattress and flat screen TV. Private balcony access can also be reached from the primary bedroom, where guests can enjoy the sound of waves crashing just across the street. The second bedroom offers two twin beds with new mattresses and linens as well. The main bathroom on the second level has a tub/shower combination and a vanity with extra counter space. Guests are provided all fresh bed linens and bath linens, including beach towels. Coastal Blue #1 is the ideal location across the street from the beach, and convenient to everything on the island. Located just 1/4 mile south of Main Beach and Fort Clinch, and just a 2 mile drive to downtown Fernandina Beach. Dogs are considered but they must be approved by management. There are size and breed restrictions, and guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs. Beach towels provided, also there is a storage bin out the back door with beach chairs, beach toys, and a wagon to take items to the beach. We appreciated that the unit was pet-friendly, and our dog had a wonderful stay with us. The kids bedroom (with twin beds) was bright when the sun came up, so bring a portable blackout shade if your kids need a dark room to sleep. The carpeted staircase inside is fairly steep with narrow steps, so keep that in mind for small children or guests with mobility limitations. ##### Staci C. Pros: easy check in and check out, hosts left a little gift for us when we arrived which was so sweet, good amount of supplies in the kitchen, washer and dryer, wagon and chairs for the beach, parking right in front of the door, short drive to restaurants, the city, and natural attractions, location is really good for beach access despite being across the street. However, there are a few things that I would change if I could. The master bedroom needs a blackout curtain, as not everyone is an early riser. The steps are steep and very small, I suggest putting rails on both sides of the stairwell. ##### Laurel S. It was about a 10 minute walk instead of 2\. property was very clean. We texted the number we had during our stay but never heard back from them, glad it wasn’t anything urgent. Great location though, very close to downtown with all the restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay in the area again. We enjoyed our vacation with our family, after all creating memories are priceless! ##### David P. The place exceeded our expectations. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and had super convenient access to a beautiful, quaint downtown area. Property is also close to some great trails at Ft. Clinch State Park and Egan’s Creek Greenway. We’ll be back! ##### Dixon T. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay and then some. The king bed was super comfortable, it felt like my bed at home! The host was kind and accommodating when we had to change our original booking dates after some medical issues. We will be booking again when we return to Amelia Island. ##### Daphna L.
