We arrived in town for a sporting event. We was running behind. At 8:30 pm we get a call about us still hadn’t checked in yet. While the staff member was nice I just thought it was odd to call and check. Told her we would be about 10pm. We arrive at the property a little before. We wait 15 mins till someone finally showed up. They while checking in we was hit with a $100 damage deposit. Was not informed by hotel or Expedia before hand. Very disappointed in both this was not stated. Have stayed at other locations including more expensive hotel without damage deposit.
