We had the most amazing stay at Rancho Alegre Lodge celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday, and it truly exceeded every expectation. We were a large group of 20 family members and friends, and the property was absolutely perfect for bringing everyone together while still allowing space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.The lodge itself is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully set up for big gatherings, making it ideal for milestone celebrations like ours. Every detail contributed to an unforgettable experience and lifelong memories.A special thank-you to Rex, the on-site manager, who was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout our stay. His attention to detail and willingness to assist made everything run smoothly and stress-free, which meant so much to us during such a special occasion.We are so grateful for our time at Rancho Alegre Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning, well-managed property. Rancho Alegre Lodge was a great place to have a big family reunion. There was no air conditioning so there were 2 portable air conditioning units in the upstairs bedrooms, but they weren't working properly. We had to do maintenance on them every night ourselves to get them to work. Many of the windows didn't have screens on them so we couldn't open them at night to let the cool air in because bugs would come in. However, it was a wonderful location with beautiful views. The huge yard all around the ranch house had lots of area for outdoor activities and relaxation. The ranch house was very big with lots of room for all of our family to have places to sit, eat and play games. The onsite hosts were helpful and kind.

Fun Place to Stay

We were a group of 15 family and friends on a ski trip. Plenty of space to spread out and beds for everyone. On Property manager, Rex and chef, Hailey were great. Rex has available before and during our stay for questions or help. Highly recommend Hailey's Pizza Party !!Kitchen has all the utensils, pots and pans you need to cook for 15 people.Everyone had fun.

Art Museum

The property was beautiful and hugh with lots of fireplaces and spots for quiet contemplation. The living room with a pool table and large fireplace was ideal for large gatherrings. Further, the art displayed in the house was amazing. The host was very friendly and helpful. The only minor criticism is that the hot tub was a little small for the size of the property (5-man).

Rancho Wedding

This property exceeded our expectations for our Jackson, WY wedding. It is a unique and eclectic active working farm. The property managers, Rex and Connor made this lodge feel like our home for the weekend. They were both professional, accommodating, and responsive the entire stay. We had five young children in our party and Rex waiting to do his farm chores so the kids could feed the animals in the morning was such a special and memorable touch. This property now holds a very special place in both ours and our family’s hearts. We will cherish this experience forever.

The place was clean and included everything we needed. The onsite managers helped coordinate baby rental delivery and pickup. The onsite folks interacted with the kids (and adults) introducing the various rescue farm animals, this was a real add to the stay. A very special spot and a very special place and a very special Family gathering.

A wonderful stay at Rancho Alegre for our family!

Our family travelled to Jackson Hole for our family reunion and Rancho Alegre was the perfect place for our large group to stay! From adults to teens to kids, everyone enjoyed all that Rancho Alegre had to offer -- beautiful surroundings, a comfortable warm home, and plenty of room for spending time together. Rex, Connor, and the entire team went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. They were always just a text away, delivered us fresh eggs each day, helped us with our bags on arrival, catered a family BBQ for us, and were consistently warm and kind to boot. Rancho Alegre was also conveniently located. We were only a quick drive from downtown Jackson, which made getting to and from activities incredibly easy. We highly recommend Rancho Alegre! If you're considering booking, go for it!

Unique setting

Spacious, great location, loved the free roaming animals - favorite of the grandkids. On site hosts were great. The home is vintage - needs some maintenance work, but a treat to visit. Would go back!

Great time had by all

Fun time. Rex engaged youngest with animals as well as teaching teens new game and playing volleyball with them. He also answered a lot of questions. Nice cemetery across the road rich in history. 1st time for most to have fresh eggs. Great home base with plenty of entertainment after returning from day out. A lot of space to be together or not 😀

Another wonderful time

We had 15 family members this time - our third time to stay at the ranch. Just as warm and inviting as ever! Everyone had a wonderful time and it was perfect to have so much room to spread out yet enjoy family time. Would definitely recommend!

Unbelievable Property for Amazing Price

I have a yearly ski trip with my friends from college. We decided to try somewhere new - Rancho Alegre Lodge in Jackson. What an experience. Plenty of comfortable beds, multiple living rooms for hanging out, huge kitchen. Rex and Connor were amazing to have on the property. The goats and chickens were such a cool touch. There’s a hot tub, sauna, and several wood burning fire places. It’s not far from town, about 15 minutes. Nice and quiet and perfect for a big getaway. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A little slice of Wyoming heaven

If you're staying in or near Jackson and you're looking for an authentic Wyoming experience, look no further than Rancho Alegre Lodge. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Rex was there to make our stay comfortable. Every request was taken care of quickly which elevated the experience. We were hosting a private group on a wellness retreat, and the home had a variety of accommodation options which was nice. Rex even offered to take our group on an evening sunset walk with the goats as well as build us a bonfire for our last night, both of which we enjoyed greatly. The home is a bit on the older side and could benefit from some TLC and a good deep clean, but nothing we experienced detracted from the overall wonderful time we had there. Overall, it felt very eclectic, cozy, and authentic. We can't wait to return again soon!

Best Family Reunion Ever!!!

With 18 family members ages 8-80, the Rancho Allegre created a magical stay filled with lifetime memories for our family reunion. When I booked I didn’t appreciate how spacious the property was. Our family never felt “on top of each other” yet had space large enough to gather as a clan. We never saw the children, they gathered eggs, played waffle ball, and learned to play a mean game of pool. The teens put down their phones and made memories. Rex was a wonderful caretaker honest about check in time when we asked about checking in early (he kept us updated throughout the day) and was truly available 24/7. Occasionally during a lifetime the stars align and everything is perfect…that describes out family’s stay at the Rancho Alegre.

Fantastic potential…..needs to be updated/cleaned. Great views and having the animals on the property was special. We spent a lot of time on the back deck which needs to be addressed….new patio/deck furniture would be nice. Rex and Ike as property managers were excellent. We appreciated all off their assistance.

Military Reunion Trip

We had 6 families stay. Rex was awesome and was always available to assist. Started fires and set everything up. Even helped us with a dead battery in a vehicle. Truly a gem of a house with an amazing location with excellent service. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck or the yard with amazing views. An elk herd worked its way across the property one morning and was a treat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy what Jackson has to offer.

A Truly Delightful Stay at Alegre Lodge in Jackson, Wyoming!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rancho Alegre Lodge in beautiful Jackson, Wyoming, and I cannot express enough how wonderful my experience was. First and foremost, the location of the lodge is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Tetons, I was surrounded by majestic mountains and picturesque landscapes. The views from the lodge were simply awe-inspiring, providing a sense of tranquility and a genuine connection with nature. The lodge itself is a true gem. It exuded warmth, comfort, and a rustic charm that perfectly complemented the surrounding environment. The attention to detail in every aspect of the lodge was evident, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities provided. The accommodations were exceptional for our entire group. Lots of options from bunk beds to private rooms. Most of the rooms had large windows that allowed you to wake up to stunning views of the mountains each morning. It truly felt like a sanctuary. Finally, the staff at the ranch were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every need. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional, offering valuable recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and outdoor activities. Their knowledge and passion for the area made my experience even more memorable.

The Gem of Jackson

Rancho Alegre is the most special place that I have ever stayed over the years visiting Jackson. The communication with the hosts was supportive from the start to ensure that we had everything we needed before arrival. Rex, was an amazing host and created such a warm welcome to the ranch - sharing the rich history of the property, helping with bags, and making sure our group comfortably settled in. He promptly helped us with any needs throughout the stay and was a fantastic on site host. The Ranch is absolutely stunning and it felt special to stay at a place which deeply respects the richness, history, and tradition of Jackson with vast views, a love for animals, and a charm unmatched capturing the rustic feel of a beautiful homestead. There is something special about staying somewhere that you know upholds strong values, respect, and a love for the home they so generously share with their guests. We are so grateful for such a memorable time in Jackson and highly recommend staying at this beautiful home.
