This beautifully updated 3-bedroom, 2-bath lakeside cottage (second bath available late spring through early fall) sits directly on picturesque Copper Lake. The main level features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, along with main-floor laundry and a cozy master bedroom. Step outside onto the lakeside deck for morning coffee or evening cocktails, or unwind in the private hot tub overlooking the water after a day of adventure. Downstairs, you’ll find a comfortable TV room, an additional bedroom, and a fantastic game and play area featuring foosball, shuffleboard, darts, classic Nintendo, and a variety of board games perfect for all ages, rain or snow. Need even more space? The separately heated bunkhouse offers four additional beds, and a comfortable sitting area ideal for kids, teens, or extra guests. An extra bathroom and outdoor shower is also available during warmer months (no water in winter). At the lake’s edge, enjoy a dock, swimming raft, waterfront fire pit, kayaks, a rowboat, and fishing gear during the warmer seasons. Life jackets and paddles are provided so everyone can jump right in when conditions allow. In winter, the lake transforms into a quiet backdrop for snowshoeing, skating, and cozy fireside evenings. Though private and secluded, the cabin is just a short drive from Tomahawk and Merrill for dining and shopping. Ride ATV and UTV trails directly from the driveway in warmer months, or snowmobile straight from the property in winter, with trail systems stretching all the way past Rhinelander. Outdoor enthusiasts will also love being less than five minutes from Underdown Recreation Area, offering mountain biking, horseback riding, and cross-country ski trails depending on the season. To make your stay comfortable, we provide a starter supply of essentials including toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, and paper towels. We recommend picking up groceries and any additional supplies before arrival so you can settle in and truly relax. The owners were just a message away and quick to respond. The cabins were clean, and FULL of things to do. It was full of everything you'd need such as dishes, soap, laundry detergent, towels, games, books, puzzles, extra linen and so on. We went while there was still snow on the ground and the lake frozen; however, there were so many things to do in the cabin. I have two boys ages 12 and 13, and we are from a large city. Thr game room in the cabin brought us close again and we had so much fun off our phones and just playing games together and watching movies. We enjoyed the hot tub every day. I'd love to come back in the summer and take advantage of the lake fun! If you do stay during the winter months, the second bathroom in the second cabin is out of service(this is clearly stated in the description). Also, the third bedroom is located in the second cabin, which has a really nice heater. There is a guide book for you in the main cabin that has instructions, all the info youll need, and suggestions for activities in the surrounding areas. This place is great for all ages, all kinds of groups, a romantic getaway, or just a getaway where you can spend quality time with your immediate family. It's also pet friendly. I'd highly recommend checking out the hiking in Merril on the Ice Age Trail. I loved everything that was included and overall it was a nice atmosphere to stay in for a weekend. Everything was very clean which was nice and ai loved all the options we had as far as activities provided. Unfortunately couldn’t do much due to being in winter and such but would have loved to use some of the gear in the warmer months. If I had to make one single critique it would be the heater in the bunk house. Being how cold it was it took a significant amount of time to heat up to a reasonable temperature so we were quite cold on the first night. We really enjoyed our stay, but it’s important to read the description carefully. One bedroom is in a small separate summer house, which was actually warm and cozy even at -10°F thanks to a gas convector. In winter there is only one bathroom available and no running water, so larger groups will need to share — all of this is clearly stated in the listing. The house is very well equipped with lots of games and activities, which made evenings especially fun.
