The deluxe room was a plus for the couple in our group of 4. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were so glad to have stayed multiple nights at the Smithton. The food was grand!

A last min booking, and full disclosure: I wasn't expecting much from a small regional hotel... but it was excellent. A good sized room, clean, decent bathroom, with good water pressure, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed with nice bedding, friendly staff, bar on site, great breakfast. I have stayed in large chain hotels that didn't provide all of those things! If you need to stay in Inverness and want a straightforward warm, dry and welcoming room, with parking, a simple bar and good food, stay here.

I was a little worried when I pulled into the car park but the room was wonderful. Very spacious. A few stains on the sofa but nothing disgusting. Actually was the best night sleep I have had in 10 days! Very quiet. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Only downside was the number of stairs to get to my room. The staff offered to help get my luggage upstairs though. Not suitable for limited mobility.

The staff was so kind and accommodating. The young man that worked in the afternoon/evening was such a hard worker!! Food was great, pub was fun, room was clean and comfortable! We will definitely be back!

The hotel is very clean. The staff is wonderful and will do anything to help. They even stayed way past the normal end of check-in time because our plane was so late getting to Inverness. I would definitely recommend Smithton Hotel!

We enjoyed our stay. We took the bus into and back from the downtown part of Inverness easily. The hotel isn't the newest, but the bed was more comfortable than some other hotels we stayed in during our trip to According. The staff were friendly and helpful. My guy really loved the haddock at the restaurant, and the free breakfast was nice. It was a bit hot during our stay (very uncommon), so while a fan would have been nice to cool is down at night, we got by with an open window. We'd stay here again.

Great place for a quick stay. Plenty of parking, clean rooms, friendly staff. We could hear the people taking below in the pub, but it was actually kind of soothing and we got a great night’s sleep.
