"Area of Harrapool was lovely and quiet. There was a co-op near by which was great being in a cabin with cooking facilities. The market close by was nice to visit for little gifts to bring home from local makers. The cabins themselves were immaculate and couldn’t fault the staff that we had interactions with. "We only stayed here one night. The cabin was clean and we were presented with some excellent snacks. It was a little small for three adults but would be perfect for a couple. As with most places in Scotland, there is no air conditioning and it was unseasonably warm when we arrived. Thankfully there was a fan to use and during the night it cooled off. "Whispering Pine Cabin was outstanding from start to finish. Staff was very helpful and provided regular communication in the run up to our arrival. No detail was missed and we felt so safe with the cleaning procedures. The cabin itself is surprisingly fresh and roomy. The kitchen has everything you might need, the bathroom was nice and the bed is super comfortable! We all loved the dinner at the Lochside Brasserie overlooking the Loch. A luxury break with a rustic feel, perfect!"

"Room a bit cold and adjusting heating didn't make much difference. Hotel is a few miles south of Fort William so I stayed in for dinner which I seriously regret. Food was mediocre at best and expensive for burnt pepperoni pizza overloaded with cheese and tomato paste and sausage unidentifiable as pepperoni. Staff uninterested in doing anything to help."

"Wasn’t really sure what to expect due to the renovation work currently in progress but actually it didn’t make any difference. The view from our room would have been the same, the back of an old BT building. The room wasn’t a hotel suite but more a mini apartment in a block at the back of the hotel, it looked like the photos but once you were in the room the finishing off wasn’t great. Carpet trims loose, safe on the floor so you had to be on your hands & knees to use it. Shower tray was shallow so looked nice but drained really slowly. On arrival the room was cold and didn’t really warm up until the 2nd day. Nice to have a sink & fridge but the sink has no drainer so awkward to wash up. No table mats or coasters and the tables are wooden, there were already ring marks on the tables. My eyes have been itchy all weekend, guessing it’s most likely there had been a dog in the room as now we have left my eyes are fine. We never went into the hotel except for checking in. Unlikely we would book again."
