Fountain View is a lovely vintage style hotel with a great staff. It is within walking distance of all the restaurants and music venues in Fountain Square. We have stayed here several times and every time we have a winderful stay!
Lovely place 5 minute Uber drive away from downtown at roughly half the price of a downtown hotel. The decor was relaxing. Upland brewery a block away was a bonus.
Very neat hotel in the middle of Fountain Square! Charming rooms that have a historical vibe to them. Roof top bar, duckpin bowling, and speakeasy...all in the same building.
Highly recommend for a unique experience for your trip to Indianapolis.
Great historical building. So much charm in the heart of fountain square. Exceeded expectations. Duck pin bowling is so fun and so many walkable destinations.
This is mine and my husbands 2nd time here for a concert down the street. The hotel is really nice, its basically like staying in an apartment. Nice restaurant and bar attached to the hotel and lots of things in walking distance. Highly recommend.
I traveled to Indianapolis to see a friend. I wanted a place near their party venue, and this hotel was great for that. Great location, very comfortable suite, and lots of things to do all around us. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night, so the area was very busy and very noisy, that was the only drawback of this stay. I would love to stay here again sometime.
Staff met us at place. Gave us actual keys and explained building entry and elevator use. Room was clean and well equipped on street parking was free. I will be staying there again when I come back.
You had to walk a couple of blocks from parking, but parking was free. Very spacious room, clean and very comfortable. Loved the kitchenette with dishes and utensils provided. Seemed like a safe area.
We loved this Inn. The room was so clean and has anything you need for a comfortable stay.
I was promptly greeted by Eric who gave me the key, and a quick briefing on the elevator, room, etc.
We absolutely went nuts for our room, 309, which was a well curated mid century room. We love the history of the Inn and area. You can have a fun night and not even leave this building. We hope to stay again.
I absolutely loved it! The room was clean and the bed was so comfy! It was like a studio apartment and felt so homey. I love doing different experiences when i come to indy and staying here was the best experience.
Beautiful old hotel. Only there one night, but I have no complaints. It's on street, free parking, so I can see that being an issue, but we found a spot a block away. The neighborhood seemed safe, so I trusted my car being on the street. Close to downtown and a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. Bed was really comfortable. Loved having a fridge and microwave. Everyone was nice as well.
Cute property. Clean and confortable. The elevator is a bit tricky and theres a bowling alley above the rooms so kinda loud during the day but very quiet at night and very secure.
Such a cool old property. Things I really liked: the old architecture, it was clean very clean, nice and quiet after the bowling alley closed at 7pm, friendly staff, good restaurants, interesting area, great price. Things that were, eh: the bed was a bit soft for my taste (others may love it), the windows were block glass so not able to see outside...thats about it. I would definitely stay there again, its such a unique place!!!

Everyone was very kind and helpful! It’s definitely a small, unique inn on the 3rd floor of an old building with lots of character. Lots of food options around. Parking is on the street but free.
My only complaint is the noise and the rugs in the bathrooms were a slipping hazard (might need something with some grip…my dad fell pretty hard when it slipped out from under him). The walls are thin, but it’s an old building.
Overall, a pleasant and charming stay.
This is such a cool property. The building is seriously old, like vintage. Our room had an adorable retro kitchenette. Everything worked fine and care had been taken to make everything cute and to make our stay comfortable. However the beds and bedding were clean but not new. Parking is free street parking, we had no problem finding a spot a block away on a busy Friday night.
I liked the uniqueness of the property. The old bowling alley in our building was from the area we are from. My husband knew the family. Everything was great except you have to deal with allot of street noise, and building noise until the early morning hours.
I grew up in Indy and really enjoy all the improvements the city has made.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The road noise and nightlife around this property was really bad. People yelling and loud cars reviving their engines at late hours. I’m used to a fair amount of urban noise, but this was a lot. The room itself was good, although ours in particular had a water leak issue that caused water under the laminate floors (I’m sure the staff will deal with after our stay). Room was nice and cool and in otherwise good condition. Good bus connectivity.
