The property was well maintained. The staff was helpful. We have stayed here few times before and the stay was always comfortable. However this time, our AC was not working and it took about 2 hours to fix the issue. Again the staff was helpful and prompt, but the room was too hot. I recommend the property to look for the issues during the room is prepared

They lied/mislead me about price I quoted, Once I discuss it with the staff, Staff person stated he would give me the price I was quoted. After checking out at a different price, after arriving home the following day I was charge more than $400.00 that I was quoted I called and spoke to a manager who stated they would investigate and called me back they never called back; I told them I was a 100% disable veteran I was disappointed they would treat a disabled veteran like this.

Staff absolutely amazing from start to finish.

We were on the 11th floor with a riverwalk view. The hallway felt damp & had a milder musky odor. But the room had a strong musky/moldy/mildewy smell & felt damp. We asked to change rooms, same problem. We used a floor fan but it didn’t help. The ventilation system blew out musty/moldy/mildewy smell which could be detrimental to health, especially if a person is immunocompromised. From outside looking up, we could see steaks of mold going down the brick along several rooms, including ours. Whether or not that is related to the smell in the room, it didn’t help/looked bad. I asked my concern to be forward to management before we left. I think more should be done to fix the smell before it causes something serious. The main lobby was fine, employees were friendly, and the location was great. So it was disappointing to have the dangerously strong smell situation in the room. For that reason, I CANNOT recommend the Westin on the River Walk.

Room wasn’t clean once I arrived. Hair in the shower, bathroom floor. Refrigerator was dirty. Location of the hotel was great. You have to pay for parking, that’s a downside as well.
