Lakefront House close to Ann Arbor!

Charming lakefront cottage with private beach. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor and 15 minutes from Brighton. We are located on Horseshoe Lake, an all sports lake with paddle board, pedal boat, rowboat and kayak included. Enjoy fishing, swimming or just relaxing in the hot tub. Sleeps 6 comfortably (although room for 8). Master bedroom has king bed. Middle room has 2 queen beds and front bedroom has queen bed. WiFi included. Cable tv in main room, master bedroom, and front bedroom. Linens included.

*while the beach is private the dock is shared with our property next door.

This property was perfect for our trip to The Big House and visiting with cousins in the area. Super quiet neighborhood, well stocked bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of cookware/utinsels, and the hot tub and dock to fish off of were an added bonus. Looking forward to staying again for another future visit with our local family!

We enjoyed the cottage. It was relaxing and the lake was a beautiful backdrop for a needed rest. We enjoyed the hot tub very much. There was a slight issue - our check in instructions were not emailed to us and we were already on the road and at our first stay and didn't realize it. I saw that we had directions and thought I'd get the rest of the info on another day but waited until check in day. Enroute I realized there was no email with entry instructions. Then we arrived 15 min. early for check in and waited in the driveway for the cleaning girl to finish. This pressured her to hurry I believe and some SMALL things did not get done/finished (like no plastic garbage bags in the kitchen can). By then we had the code from the owner. The rest of the time went smoothly. I should have been more diligent about getting the info while at our 1st stayover rather than from the road. And we should not have shown up 15 min. early. The owner was very helpful in providing the code while we were on the road and all was well. It is a nice place for a family stay. Lots of toys to entertain a variety of interests.

This is the coziest lake house! Looks exactly as the pictures and was the perfect place to stay while visiting family on Whitmore Lake. Laura has quick to respond on a few questions and this little cottage was so clean and had plenty of amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Nice Lake Cottage

Nice four night stay. About 15 minutes from Ann Arbor. We went to University of Michigan football game and easy to get in and get out from this area. House exactly as pictured and host has thought of everything one would need to fully feel at home here. Beautiful lake views from inside. Lovely area. Lots of leaf burning the entire time which was unfortunate as we couldn’t really enjoy being outside but that is just this time of year. Would definitely stay again.

Great family getaway

This place had everything we needed for a weekend away with our kids. Spacious yard, lake access, games and activities for kids and hot tub for the adults to enjoy. Was so nice to relax after the kids went to bed and just enjoy the peaceful neighborhood. Quick trip to Ann Arbor if you wanted to enjoy a night out in the city. We will definitely be back!

We visited Ann Arbor for 2 days. This property was located in close proximity on a lovely lake. 15 minutes into Ann Arbor even with traffic. Property was exactly as described. Would stay again.

Lake Front Paradise

This place is as advertised but, way better in person. 7 miles from Ann Arbor. We had a party of 6 and we very comfortable inside and outside the house in the backyard/deck area. We spent time in the hot tub after a day spent at Michigan Stadium watching our beloved Texas Longhorns play the Michigan Wolverines. There are plenty of restaurants in the Whitmore Lake area plus plenty of restaurants in Ann Arbor from which to choose. We were able to Door Dash and have it delivered to the house, no problem. If we return, this will be our first choice. You will not be disappointed with this lovely lakefront home.
