Two bedrooms and two bathrooms provide a comfortable arrangement for 2 couples. The kitchen is well-appointed. The primary bedroom has a great set-up for a work-away-from-home stay. The rooftop patio is the perfect place to take in the scenery of the waterfront and Washington hills, warm yourself by the firepit with morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. The location is a walk away from everything downtown including restaurants, coffee spots, wine tasting, breweries, shops, library, bookstore, a nature trail, beauty care, and local health care. NOTES: Only one compact car can maneuver the very tight turn into the SHARED GARAGE.Maximum capacity for 6 adults. The upper deck, open staircases and landings make this space unsuitable for children. There are train tracks that run next to the building. NO CHILDREN, NO PETS, and NO AMEX. The place was clean and enjoyable. We even cooked several times and had no issues. Items to take note: the listing says shared garage and small car to fit in the garage. We had a larger SUV and was able to fit in the garage with a lot of adjustments to get in and get out. The driveway is narrow so it can be done but we had people outside to ensure the car was clear of everything. Also, the door between garage and house has a loose lock and it was locked once without us knowing. Unfortunately we left key inside the house. Amy was super quick to get the caretaker to let us in, he said it’s not the first time this happened; so take the key with you. Also the proximity of the train was close but never interfered with sleep. Definitely would return! ##### Debra A. The layout is nice, and setting is great! Although, the bathroom for the bedroom on the main level is hardly big enough to brush your teeth or wash your face as it is so tiny. The most challenging part was being absolutely ON TOP of the train track. It runs all night long and can be heard from every bedroom and living spaces, day and night. The property was clean, bright and had everything we needed. We appreciated the high ceilings and large windows and that not every room was filled with massive television as centerpiece.
