The location when we arrived was perfect so peaceful and tranquil. A bit difficult to find as going down the lane only a car width and when reaching the end no signage to say we were in the correct place or to guide us signage to the cabin.
I was quite dated inside but clean and tidy enough, it had what you would need for your stay. The hob and oven were clean but the markings to know the heat and what part of the oven was the fan was trial and error ( some burnt garlic bread as the grill and oven was on haha) once you got used to it, it was fine.
Instead of having two chairs at the table and two in the corner set up it would have benefited from another cupboard to put food in with it being self catering there was no space for food and a mirror on the wall in the bedroom might have been helpful for us ladies when drying your hair and trying to use the small square portable mirror from the bathroom.
Towels were provided they were only bath towels so for the larger person was not big enough for my husband, luckily I did bring extra towels just in case (I'm a just in case packer)
We really enjoyed our stay here seeing the kingfisher come a few times over our stay there, trout jumping out the water when the poor anglers had gone home empty handed, dragonflies, damselflies. bats, many types of butterflies, buzzards were an absolute plus.
The internet was intermittent which wasn't a problem for us as it helped to switch off and everybody needs an internet and social media break.
