Perfectly situated on the Gulf of Mexico in the center of Anna Maria Island, Gulf Place is a small, thoughtfully designed, and carefully maintained condo complex that offers guests a beach vacation to remember. All units are nestled around a heated pool, and each features a view of the crystal-blue waters and white sand that have made the Gulf Coast of Florida so famous. One of the Island's few tennis courts is located at the front of the property. Walk into this beautiful condo and you automatically begin to relax. The amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico captures your sight and draws you out to the spacious balcony. The coastal furnishings in the living area are inviting and spacious with a flat-screen television when you are ready for a movie as well as free WiFi for your use. There is a large dining table and a beautifully appointed kitchen with all you will need to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay. The Primary Bedroom contains a beautiful King bed with an en suite bath and a great view of the Gulf. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 twins. There is another full bath in the hallway When you are ready to venture outside, there is a large pool with deck and chairs right on the Gulf. The property also has tennis courts for use by guests. Off property, enjoy exploring the Island on the free Island Trolley. Shopping, Dining and adventures await just minutes away. One of the reasons Gulf Place is such a treasure is that the on-site management is tasked with ensuring occupancy limits are observed, and they do a very thorough job! Six people is the maximum occupancy for each unit and this is strictly enforced. But if you're traveling with more than six people, don't despair! The entire condo has been fully renovated. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises right on the beach. Extremely short walk to both the beach and pool area. Sanibel has been a family favorite for decades and I'm so thankful they are recovering well. Having a family of four kids under 7 everything was a breeze! We watched dolphins everyday, weather was perfect, and swam until the kids couldn't anymore. Definitely recommend staying here. ##### Sonya D. The condo was very clean upon arrival. It was nice to have a very large rug at the front door that collected sand from our shoes everytime we entered! Our time in the condo was spent on the lanai because the views were incredible - and of course the rental price reflects that amenity for sure. We enjoyed having no screens on the lanai since that gave us clear views. (We had no problems with mosquitoes or whatever while we were there) We enjoyed having the two slider chairs and ottomans and other chairs on the lanai. What could be better than a cup or coffee on the lanai while watching the morning skies over the gulf or a glass of wine while watching the sunset?!Suggestions: We would have appreciated a Kuerig-type coffee maker. Only a standard drip-type was included in the kitchen. The bi-fold shuttered doors on the first bedroom (the one with the two twin beds) were not very practical. The doors are not sound-proof in any way. The light over the dining room table might be pretty, but it is totally impractical. We played a lot of games in the evening, and the lighting is terrible over the table. The furniture is quite dated - it would be nice to have newer furnishings, especially for the price you pay for the condo.The sliding screen doors work but they are kind of rough to slide.Overall, we loved our stay here! The location of Gulf place unit 8 is amazing! The view from the balcony is so beautiful, I love the fact there is no long walkway to the beach. You are right there! You can watch the dolphins every morning! The inside is wonderful, very clean and decorated beautifully. I really did love the unit, but Warning, there are no elevators. So if you have issues walking up to flights of stairs it’s not fun. My grandsons ran up them every time! Lol There are no TVs in the two bedroom, just the master. There’s no bathroom at the pool so you’ll have to go upstairs if you need to use the restroom. But it’s a beautiful condo in a great location. ##### Lora W. This property is easily one of the most beautiful places we have visited. The location is perfect and the condo’s layout worked so well for our family of 5\. We had a minor issue when we initially got to the place and the staff resolved it immediately. Calm and great pool and beach access. Property managers were eager to help with everything and some one met us on site to give us a parking pass. Location is great. We were close to all kind of restaurants and shops! The only complaint we had was the air conditioning can not be set below 74 so it was pretty hot in the unit all week. Luckily there were some box fans and ceiling fans in 2/3 bedrooms or would have been extremely uncomfortable. The main living area still got pretty uncomfortable later in the day.
