Dock & Dunes is where your dream waterfront vacation begins! Nestled on a deep-water canal, this coastal beach cottage offers everything you need for a perfect vacation. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus a loft area with a futon and a pull out couch it comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests, ensuring that everyone has their own space to relax and unwind, add to this a boat ramp on site and tons of shaded seating, games and a dock to fish off of right outside the door! Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway or an adventure-packed vacation, this beach cottage offers the perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. Upon entering Dock & Dunes, you'll immediately notice the beautiful décor in this newly remodeled coastal paradise with touches of elegance to the coastal ambiance. The house is thoughtfully designed with both comfort and style in mind, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for you to enjoy. There are brand new appliances including a washer and dryer, linens, and towels are included in your stay as well as a full-sized stainless Wilmington Grill for inside and outside cooking and entertainment. The dock offers a covered gazebo with a swing and fish cleaning station. Please note all that is not an "extra charge"... linens, towels, grill, private boat ramp, washer and dryer, tons of condiments and spices and ways to cook for those with a fresh catch from fishing or those who choose not to eat out (although lots of options for that too)" One of the highlights of this beach house is its private boat ramp, allowing you to conveniently launch your boat and explore the stunning waterways of Surf City, Topsail Beach, Lea Island, Masonboro Island, Wrightsville Beach and so much more! With room for a boat up to 28 ft, you can easily bring your own vessel and embark on exciting boating adventures during your stay. Note you will need to let us know you are bringing a boat and we will need copies of insurance and liability info on boat, plus a signed waiver to use to boat dock. After a day on the water, you can retreat to the spacious two story cottage with 4 private bedrooms, plus a semi private cove with a coil spring futon, and a pull out queen sleeper sofa, for added guests. My sister and I, our husbands, my niece and nephews, were there to celebrate my sisters 56th birthday. Although everyone came at different days, because of work schedules, so we didn’t have a full house at all times. But if we did, the rooms were perfect! They all had bathrooms, TVs, super comfortable bedding and ceiling fans. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need! Outside was a nice grill, propane, nice chairs, tables and a ton of beach toys, floats and chairs! Beach towels also! Jul 24, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Even though we are fairly local to the area several generations of my family like to rent a place at the beach every summer to relax, unwind and spend quality time together. It is sometimes hard to find a place that meets all of our needs, but this canal front cottage managed to check all of our boxes!! The main living space (plus one bed and bath) only requires one step into the house which was perfect for my mother who can't do a lot of steps. The whole back patio area and part of the side yard were fenced in which was perfect for our two dogs. We were able to bring the boat and dock it right out back. The house was plenty spacious and clean and so nice to have towels and linens included. We would definitely rent again!! ##### Michelle C. We are so incredibly happy we found this place. It was absolutely perfect. We travel with our boat so sometimes we run into issues as far as spacing for a trailer, large family and several vehicles. But this place we had no issues. We loved being able to have our boat right out back. We loved that their was a large area covered that all of us could hang out under and eat, play card games, etc while the kids fished in the canal- we even tied some of our floats up to the boat and relaxed in the canal. The beach is so close by. We walked there several times. The inside of the home was set up perfect especially for my elderly father who has issues with stairs. There is a bedroom on the main floor so he didn’t have to tackle any stairs. The location of this home is far enough away from all the chaos of the traffic which is lovely too! I would recommend this rental over and over again to everyone. ##### Meagen D.
