Very comfortable, clean, nicely appointed, well-stocked house. Location right on private beach cannot be beat! Beautiful dunes a few minutes’ walk from property.Only think to note is that the stairway to beach is very significant—it’s about 150 steps down…and back up! ;) Older guests or those with health issues may find this very challenging…our group was able to traverse easily but I think this should be noted more clearly on listing.So close to Sagatuck and Holland, so much to do and see! The views from the porch and hanging at the beach and in the lake are definitely the best features of this property. Amazing section of beach, not crowded, soft sand and clear water. I walked for miles in both directions and enjoyed the peaceful gorgeous views. All three generations loved it and said they would like to come back. The stairs are long but they are sturdy and thoughtfully done with a beveled and well sanded handrail and there is a nicely placed bench half way down for a rest. Our teenage and young adult sons ran them two at a time and enjoyed the workout, most of us were fine using them a couple times a day, the least active did not use them but were not beach people anyway and enjoyed the treehouse perch with beach and lake views and wave sounds from the deck and stunning tranquil views from many rooms of the house. The beds and furniture is all high quality and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Enjoyed short trips into Saugatuck and Holland. Everyone enjoyed playing games and watching the sunset from the outdoor sectional each night.
