we stopped here for the night on our way to northern michigan from chicago. room was clean, location was very convenient, and the room was a good size. breakfast was also surprisingly yummy! a great choice for an overnight stay or short trip. our dog loved it

The trailmill in the gym didn’t work. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work. The water in the bathtub drained slow. The bad and pillows were very confortable. The location of the hotel is very good.

Very clean everywhere! Hot tub and pool were excellent. Pool was heated to about 85 degrees. Breakfast was minimal. No eggs both morning we were there. They could at least have had hard boiled eggs. Every employee was very helpful.

They were going through renovation so it’s a little tricky to give them an excellent, but our room was clean and when we asked for anything they willingly helped. The breakfast was wonderful and is maintained by a wonderful woman, who also was training in someone and is an excellent trainer.

The property was in a state of remodel. The pool and hot tub were dirty. The carpet and flooring was needing to be removed. It was not very clean and could tell it would be better but was very poor to stay in.

The property is 90% complete on a remodel. All the sleeping rooms are completed with only a few minor punch list items. The new is very nice, the beds were very, very comfortable. The common areas such as the lobby are also complete. They have an indoor pool and in ground jaccuzzi that we used. Although I did not see any remodeling, it was in good condition. The jacuzzi floor surface is in need of re-plaster but is was clean. They were currently working on new entry sliding doors. My only suggestion would be to look at some of the finishing items, the elevator floor and floor trim need attention, the bathroom light in our room still had an older on/off switch that had issues, and the bumper in the bathroom to keep the door handle from hitting the wall and making a hole in the wall was the old and grungy one. No deal breakers at all, just since they are still in the final stages of remodel, those things were noticeable. Yes I would recommend. Yes I would stay again. CG

When we were checking in the staff advised not to keep my room key near my phone due to the door key card system being so antiquated it would erase the key card the carpet is outdated and dirty the bathroom made me think twice about showering due to the amount of rust around the drain the pool and hot tub had a lot of dirt on the bottom not what you would expect from a indoor facility the breakfast that was included well let just say I stuck with the bagels the highlight of my stay was at least the bed was comfortable

Our room was clean as were all other areas. Staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. We would like to especially mention Lein. She was very welcoming and helpful. The property is currently under renovation as of 9/2026. So there were construction materials around the outside of the building and in some of the interior areas. They did not impact our safety in any way. But, were a bit of an eyesore. We do wish there would have been more towel bars in the room. There were very few spaces to hang towels. The hotel was very quiet. The extra fee for our dog was expected and seemed a fair amount. Breakfast was the usual fare for a 3 star hotel. Overall, we would stay again. It was a nice experience.

This hotel is our family’s usual place when traveling to Holland, Michigan. We love everything about—from the room itself, the staff, the complementary breakfast, the outdoors and the pool area. However, this trip wasn’t as pleasant during our stay at the hotel due to the out-of-order pool/hot-tub. Overall, it was a nice stay and would recommend to anybody!

The people working were nice enough. And our room was clean. But that's pretty much where it ended. The hot tub didn't work, and we weren't told when we checked in, we would have canceled and found another hotel that had working amenities.
