The property has that classic Route 66 charm but everything felt well cared for and maintained. We didn’t get a chance to meet the staff since it was a no contact check-in, but the instructions we received were easy to follow. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is great as well, with easy access to restaurants, gas stations and cafes. The motel is adorned with old signage and decor which makes for a little added fun. The room was cozy, bed comfortable and the price was affordable. However... if you are a light sleeper, this is NOT the place for you. You are literally a block away from a very active railroad and you can expect to hear horns all hours of the night which didn't bother me but made for a restless night for my wife.
