Discover timeless charm in this fully renovated 1840s Georgian cottage, perfectly positioned at the end of a historic row of three conjoined homes in the heart of iconic Battery Point. Blending original character with modern comforts, this inviting retreat features three bedrooms and sleeps up to five guests. Just a short stroll to local cafes, boutique shops, and Salamanca Place, it’s the ideal base for soaking up Hobart’s heritage and vibrant waterfront lifestyle.  
  
The Space:  
Step into the perfect blend of heritage charm and contemporary luxury in this beautifully restored 1840s Georgian cottage, located in the heart of historic Battery Point — Hobart’s most iconic and sought-after neighbourhood. Set at the end of a character-filled row of three historic homes, this fully renovated cottage offers all the comfort and style you need for an unforgettable Tasmanian escape.  
  
Inside, the home features three beautifully appointed bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to five guests. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious master bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed, and a second bedroom with a comfy double bed. On the lower level, a third bedroom and adjacent living area offers a peaceful retreat with a king single bed — perfect for those wanting a little extra privacy.  
  
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances and everything you need to cook up a delicious meal at home in a spacious dining area which makes every meal a pleasure. Alternatively, grab a delicious pub meal at popular 'Shippies' (The Shipwright Arms nearby.  
  
Step straight outside from the kitchen onto the sunny deck, complete with a BBQ — perfect for laid-back summer meals. Below, a large backyard with outdoor seating offers a private, peaceful spot to enjoy a drink under the stars or soak up the fresh Tassie air.

Nestled just a stone’s throw from Hobart’s bustling waterfront, Battery Point is one of Tasmania’s most picturesque and historically rich suburbs.  
  
Steeped in heritage charm, with cobblestone lanes, Georgian sandstone cottages, and leafy streets give this village-like neighbourhood a warm, timeless feel. The area is steeped in maritime history, originally developed as a defensive outpost in the 1800s, and today it's one of Hobart’s most sought-after locations.  
  
Hampden Road is the beating heart of the neighbourhood — a charming village strip lined with boutique shops, artisanal bakeries, cosy cafés, and locally loved restaurants. From Jackman & McRoss bakery for a morning pastry, to elegant wine bars and quaint antique stores, everything you need is just steps from your door.  
  
A short walk down the hill brings you to Salamanca Place, with its famous Saturday market, galleries, and vibrant harbourfront dining. The Hobart CBD is also easily accessible on foot, making Battery Point a peaceful retreat that’s still close to the action.  
  
Whether you're enjoying a quiet coffee under the trees, exploring the neighbourhood’s rich colonial history, or heading out for a scenic waterfront stroll, Battery Point offers the perfect blend of old-world character and contemporary Tasmanian lifestyle.  
  
Getting Around:  
Discover Hobart on foot, the apartment is centrally located and walking distance to all inner-city attractions - Salamanca Place is a 10 minutes walk, the MONA ferry and the CBD only 15 minutes.  
  
Metro buses can take you into Hobart CBD, with a bus stop conveniently located on nearby Sandy Bay Road.  
  
Taxi’s and Uber are also available, as well as Neuron and Beam Scooters available to rent via apps.
