The beds were comfy and the house was clean. One word of warning - beware the deep gully on the right side of the road in front of the house. We arrived in the dark and one of our group, when trying to back up after overshooting the driveway, lodged a rear wheel in the gully. We needed a tow truck to get it out. ##### Sheila B. Beautiful location, perfect quiet cottage, the fireplace in the living room every night was just what we needed! It is every bit as lovely and comfortable as we remembered. Ellen is a gracious and welcoming host. The cottage has everything you need for a cozy winter weekend…including a stunning fireplace. The master bedroom is large and luxurious with an extremely comfortable king sized bed. It was hard to get up in the morning! We are looking forward to future stays in Copake Lake! ##### Melissa C. It didn’t have as many extras as other homes I’ve stayed in, no assortment of games etc. Internet was choppy. The kitchen was fairly bare, and unfortunately no coffee was provided for Keurig.
