It is right on the river so we stayed on the deck most of the time we were at the cabin and listened to the river and watched and fed the geese and their babies as they swam by. While enjoying coffee each morning and a cold beverage at night, we were drawn to take in the view, the sound of the river and the peacefulness of nature. We will definitely be back! ##### T H. Furnishings were comfortable and the cabin was cozy and warm during the cool evenings. The deck looked so inviting but the drizzly cold weather kept us from spending our evenings out there. The house was clean and perfect for us and 2 kids. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and caught a few trout. We enjoyed playing games at night and built a bon fire. The location was perfect. We went to Highlands, Dry Falls, and Franklin. Rivers edge is very peaceful, it was nice to sit on the back porch, drink coffee and listen to the water. The only drawback was the neighbor with the red SUV. On our first morning there, she banged on the door actually scaring us. We had parked in the gravel in front of our cottage. She informed us with balled up fists on her hips that we had to move our vehicle. Later, we drove how she could have gone around us. We were not blocking her in. ##### Becky O. The cabin is simply precious and the river location is perfect for kayaking, tubing, fishing, and relaxing. We loved sitting on porch overlooking the river. Listening to the river at night was so peaceful. The manager and hosts were amazing and quick to make sure we had everything we needed for a special retreat. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Went horseback riding, spent time at Gold City Gem Mine nearby, and was just down the road from Dry Falls. Franklin nearby for lots of restaurants and shopping. House had everything needed for cooking. It was so very clean and inviting. ##### Deborah R. Right on the river. Can walk down and wade or sit in chairs at water. Minutes from Franklin.
