Just a one minute drive over Highlands bridge to the Atlantic ocean. One minute walk to local beach. the Seastreak Ferry to NYC is 1 minute drive. Directly across the street from The Proving Ground(use to be WindanSea) and The Inlet Cafe which both offer plenty of delicious food and quenching drinks among many restaurants and bars in town to choose from. You can see the ocean, and the river from the top deck. Our host, Gerald, could not have been nicer. Communications easy, check in easy. Extremely helpful with recommendations. My only regret is that we didn't get to hear him play the saxophone! There was just two of us, in our mid sixties. There are 2 bedrooms on separate floors each with its own bathroom, plenty of privacy. Kitchen is more than adequate but we ate out most of the time. We were there over Labor Day week end and into the week after that, enjoying the beginning of "Locals Summer" . Easy to get to NYC via the ferry which is about 1 mile away.
